Totte
some minor things, I've noticed with the Mets. I'm just sharing my knowledge, I watch every Mets game and am an avid Met fan. Valentin is a switch hitter, he's still a better hitter batting left. He's listed as a left handed hitter in the game. Aaron Heilman's best pitch is the Circle Change, it has a sinking movement i'd say 1 to 7, and then followed by his two fastballs, the four seamer and the two seamer. He has a curveball and slider but barely uses it, and when he does it results in a ball. Also Pitching Delivery Matt Morris is really identical. Carlos Beltran is a much better hitter batting lefty than righty. Here are the stats. vs LHP 121 AB, .264 AVG, 7 HR, 33 RBI, 10 3B, 32 H vs RHP 281 AB, .299 AVG, 27 HR 71 RBI, 21 2B, 84 H Steve Trachsel also throws a splitter. ============== Other than that, you completely nailed the Mets. I'm pretty sure everything else isn't disputable. Great Job on the recent Roster Totte, keep up the good work. I've fixed everything except for the Beltran stuff as I won't change any batting ratings until after the regular season. Thanks :)
TribeFan4Eva
at the next pit stop...so your saying dont even mess with the CD's....dont you need CD2 in the drive to play though??? I would go to "my computer" then to "program files" than to ea sports, then to "mvp 2005" then to "data" then database????? is that right?? if so, then would i drag the .dat files over or would i click "extract to another folder" or what??. also, do i need to use kraw's thing??? TheProdigy
drag the .dat files to the database folder, overwrite... as far as the CD, you don't need the mess around with the CD to install mods, but use it to play.

You only need CD2 inserted when you want to play the game. You shouldn't necessary have to use the installer by kraw. GO to your mvp2005/data/database folder (where you installed the game) and simply copy/paste the files from your UR-download into this folder. Click yes when asked if you want to overwrite the existing files. Done!
D-Unit
Shouldn't Carl Crawford have a better throwing arm? He has at least 10 assists this season.

Emil
Shouldn't Carl Crawford have a better throwing arm? He has at least 10 assists this season. I haven't looked at Crawford's throwing arm, but assists doesn't have anything to do with it.
TheProdigy
Wait until Crawford turns 28, he'll be golden.
D-Unit
I haven't looked at Crawford's throwing arm, but assists doesn't have anything to do with it. Yeah, you're right. Melky Cabera, Manny Ramirez, and Alfonso Soriano have around 40-50 assists combined, but it has nothing to do with a good arm. It has 75% something to do with it. 25% is bad baserunning or the 3B coach is Luis Sojo.
TheProdigy
it's about 50 %, Endy Chavez has 9 Outfield Assists and doesn't play everday, speed lets you drive the ball to where ever you're throwing it. Speed 35 % and 15 % has to do with decisions, bad calls. IMO
TheProdigy
and that doesn't apply to everyone, look at Vlad. there are so many factors too, where you're positioned on the field and more.
D-Unit
But Crawford deserves better than 75 throwing strength, that doesn't gun out many people in MVP. His arm is better than that regardless of factors in making an assist.
TheProdigy
I agree, but you can't overdo it, remember. I'm pretty sure Totte will give him the deserving rating.

His arm is better than that regardless of factors in making an assist. I don't think he does. Carl Crawford doesn't have a great arm, so giving him a 80 would be too good. 80 is like a Jim Edmonds or a Veron Wells. Speaking of arms, I think Griffey Jr. should have a 85, not 80 in throwing strenght.
cybernetic
You can change the pitches for Jays P Davis Romero (I'm not sure if he's in AA or AAA in the newest UR). He made his major league debut tonight. 91mph FB sinker (90mph) slider (85mph) change (80mph) curve (12-6, 76mph) Also his control needs to be improved quite a bit. He only had 7 walks in over 40 innings in AAA this year.
RaptorQuiz
The Cardinals signed OF Preston Wilson off the free agency today (since the Astros released him). He's likely to be the RF starter with Encarnacion moving to center while Edmonds is out with his post-concussion-syndrome. He wears #3. To make room for him on the roster they sent Anthony Reyes (SP) to AAA Memphis. ...he also went 2-for-4 with a homer in his first game as a Cardinal. AGAINST THE CUBS! Woot! EDIT: Sorry. I just noticed that this was already mentioned. I was at work while the game was being played, and I didn't go far enough back in the thread to find the post until AFTER I posted this one. d'oh. Scooped by a Cubs fan. lol.
