Ultimate Roster Project (PC,Xbox,PS2)

Hello, I'm new here and just noticed this patch (Thanks a LOT for all those that have contributed to it :)).

Quick question though. I noticed that the Marlin roster (mostly all of their rankings) are very much out of date and I'm looking to fix them up. Is this the place to put it, or is there somewhere else I should post or somebody I should PM with the stats? Since this thread is well over 700 pages long I haven't really read it, so I'm not all to sure what I should do. :)

Totte only changes batter ratings after the season. It is based on last years performance and three year splits, not how they've been doing in the season this year.

Ah I see. Thanks for the response.

Sure man. Many people have said things about Mournea (spelling  ), Mauer, Rios, and people who have been having much better seasons then they're ratings reflect, but they will all be changed for next season.

Can't wait then :)

There are still some changes to the roster though, does that get changed, or just aquisitions like trades and free agents? Just an example of what I'm talking about...Amezaga is now the starting CF instead of Abecrombie, Anibal Sanchez is the 5th starter moving Moehler as a LRP and Fulchino to AAA.

I also have another suggestion, can some of you Astros fans second this?

Morgan Ensberg has an extremely open stance, his front foot is actually on the edge of the batter's box. What stance would be good?

Probably the one Lyle Overbay has (Luis Gonzalez)

I need some help guys!

What type of pitches does Hyang-Nam Choi and Juan Lara throw and with what velocity? They're both on the Buffalo Bisons roster (Cle-AAA).

Thanks

Thanks

Hyang-Nam Choi

He has a nice, 3-pitch repertoire: low-90s fastball, slider, change

Just something that was sent to me via MLB.com. It kinda helps with the AZ outfield situation...

"Carlos Quentin, who was previously featured as a Fresh Face, becomes embedded in the Diamondbacks outfield fold with Shawn Green having been dealt to the Mets. NL-only managers should pounce on Quentin if he's still available on the wire. ... Another recent callup worth a look is scrappy middle infielder Dustin Pedroia, who reached base in 39 percent of his Minor League plate appearances. He's played both second base and shortstop and should continue to see ample at-bats with Alex Gonzalez on the disabled list. ... An additional promoted middle infielder who's expected to see extra at-bats -- though his story is one of redemption rather than newfound glory -- is Kazuo Matsui. The speedy switch-hitter aims to continue stealing time from starting shortstop Clint Barmes in Colorado."

More on Colorado...

"It isn't often that backstops are profiled or recommended in fantasy leagues. That is, except for the Rockies' Chris Iannetta, who was called up Saturday and is regarded as one of baseball's top catching prospects. Above all, Iannetta has impeccable pitch recognition and plate selectivity, as exhibited by his impressive 48/55 BB/K ratio between Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Colorado Springs this year and supported by his prior Minor League output. Similar to many young hitters, the 23-year-old has plenty of gap power (.583 slugging percentage at Tulsa), which should develop into home run power as he matures. Iannetta's top attribute for the immediate future, though, is his ability to hit for average. Look no further than his .351 mark at Colorado Springs. The Rhode Island-born slugger could emerge as a top 12 catcher in September, since there's nothing stopping the Rockies from giving Iannetta a steady dose of playing time. With a healthy mixture of talent and skill on his side, Iannetta deserves a pickup in deep mixed leagues. "

One thing I forgot...Amezega has played all positions except C so his 2nd position should be UTIL, not just IF.

I think we have a new Marlins guru...

i agree fit this man with a marlins avatar and a sig that says Marlins Guru
