UncleMo
Not sure if I can ask this here or not, but I don’t know anyone that could help me better than you Totte and if you have no answer, it is cool. My thing is this- I want to start a new dynasty with the Braves and start the season as if it was, today’s date, or whenever I start. How can I do that using your roster set and get the current standings in MVP. Further to that question is a question that you may be able to touch on better: If I was able to start my dynasty like stated above, do you have a list of minor leaguers to trade for so that I could trade away all of the Braves top players with high salaries? I want to take over the team, have a fire sale, and compete in less than three years. Just like the Marlins and A’s are doing now. I’d appreciate any direction you can give, other than “get lostâ€. )

I’d appreciate any direction you can give, other than “get lostâ€. ) To answer your first question: I'm sorry but I don't know how you'd be able to start your dynasty like that with the standings being that way etc. Number two: I had a list of great prospects to trade for, sort of like diamonds in the rough but I seem to have lost it as I only had it on a piece of paper (handwritten). From the top of my head though...hmm...Erick Threets (SF), Brad Snyder (CLE), Corey Wimberley (COL) and Taylor Teagarden (TEX). I'll see if I can find that list somewhere and if I do, I'll get back to you.
UncleMo
Would you say that your list is up to date, say, as "the top rated guys in the minors that are major league or nearly major league ready"? Thanks, Mo.
Totte
Would you say that your list is up to date, say, as "the top rated guys in the minors that are major league or nearly major league ready"? Thanks, Mo. I'd say that Threets and Snyder are ready for the big show. Teagarden is a solid AAA-catcher who just needs one year to develop and with Wimberley's blazing speed, you could put him in the majors right away as a pinch runner if you'd like but I plan on letting him blossom in AA/AAA the first year and then have him as my leadoff guy. I've been looking all over for my list but I can't seem to find it. Sorry dude...

DoubleD
I can back up Wimberly as an awesome pick up. I actually found him by chance (In one of my first Dynasties, COL offered me him in a trade) and now I always make sure to grab him. Not only is his speed amazing, but his 2nd position is UTIL so you can fit him anywhere. And since he's in COL's A system, you don't have to give up anything of value for him. After using him in Triple A, and in every game of spring training (plus mini games if you do that) he'll have a decent contact rating for the next year to be able to perform well in the majors. I know these are big names (Both are already in the majors), but Delmon Young and Lastings Milledge are good pick ups. Both normally end up being 100 contact/100 power after a few years (Love 5 star potential rating on young guys).
UncleMo
Yes, thanks for the 2 additionaly minor leaguer names which should have been no brainers. Hopefully these guys listed will have a high rating in plate discipline!
bighurt27
Fixed everything except for Dye's hitting ratings since I won't update any until after the regular season. Thanks awesome you da man.
DoubleD
You should also becareful with what team you pick Uncle Mo. When you have such a young team, you're bound to do pretty bad your first year. With a team like the Marlins, you can be 20 games under .500 and still get a B rating as a Manager. On the flipside of that, you can be 10 games over .500 as the Yankees and get an F. Seeing the Bravers were a high-calibur team, they might not be the best option.
