Totte
I'd like to add Cardinals prospect Trey Hearne to the rosters. Could someone hook me up with a scouting report (pujols )? Thanks
BigRog
hey totte i think youkilis stance should not be beltre. i think vina is not 100% perfect but its close. Loretta should have piazza'z stance it looks really close. Willy Mo Pena should have a stance of generic 2 its dead on (willy mo should definetly be considered for a power increase at the end of the year because he hits monster shots. dont give him good contact or plate discipline though)

TwentySeven
Shouldn't Lance Berkman be a 1B/RF rather then an RF/1B? He is the starting first bagger for the Astros.
cybernetic
His default position is RF though not 1B

maxbjr
Totte, this is what I could find on Trey Hearne; "Righthanded starter Trey Hearne: Hearne, a 23-year-old from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, has enjoyed a remarkable season at Quad Cities. The Lufkin, Texas, native is 12-3 with a 2.25 ERA in 31 appearances -- 17 of them as a starter -- for the Low Class-A club. A 28th-round choice in last year's draft, Hearne went nine straight starts without allowing more than two earned runs. Opponents are hitting a mere .216 against him. " "By his own description there is "nothing special" about what righthander Trey Hearne brings to the mound. He said he isn't "lighting up anybody's radar" with his fastball. He admits there's "no popping of the mitt" when he sizzles a pitch by a hitter. "I do have good control," he offers. But otherwise nothing overwhelming. Over 10 starts in June and July, opponents hit .195 off him. He has struck out as many lefties as he has allowed to reach base (27 to 27), and in 2005 he struck out more batters (42) than reached base (38) over 382„3 innings. He does it with what Salinas called a "sneaky-fast fastball" -- a fastball that has late zip coming from Hearne's' smoothly lulling delivery -- and a feel for how to set up hitters with location, instead of speed. After giving up three hits on off-speed pitches in the first inning Monday, he shifted approaches. He went with locating his fastball and allowed one hit over six. "Getting noticed in Corpus, I thought was almost impossible," Hearne said. "I throw 86 mph, 87 mph and I can top out at 88-89 on a good night. … I think I could throw harder. I don't think I would be as accurate, and accuracy is my big thing. I know I have to be consistent to have a shot to get to the big leagues. It's nothing special. Consistency is key. Because I don't throw hard, I have a lot less room for error." Sorry but this is the best I can find... He seems to have an average speed fastball that he has great controll with and can locate well. He probably has a change-up & a 2 seam fastball also. He has a high strikeout to walk ratio, and averages 7-8 strikeouts per 6-7 inning game. Hopefully someone who follows the Cardinals can add more. Totte
Totte Why San Louis is number 1 Rank teams? they are not playing the best baseball in these moment Because the MVP rating system is fucked up and there's pretty much nothing you can do about it. theotherguy619
Because the MVP rating system is fudged up and there's pretty much nothing you can do about it. when all of the hitter/pitcher ratings get changed at the end of the season, they will probably end up in the 9-14 area. by the way, how much effort is gonna go in to the pitcher attributes? i noticed when they got redone completey the first time that all the postion players were changed but i didnt look like the pitchers got any work done to them
krawhitham
Because the MVP rating system is fudged up and there's pretty much nothing you can do about it. You can change the lineups for a team and their rating can change (no player transactions). The ratings system does not look at the team as a whole, it is a fucked up system
