SwinginSoriano
One would have to stray from Ortiz's list weight to make him fatter. Either you can change his profile to 'heavy', or increase the weight and stray away from the list weight. I myself have not come to a conclusion on this, I do think Ortiz is way heavier than 230, but the heavy profile may make him look too blobby. Just think about it this way, both Jason Giambi and David Ortiz are listed at 230. Ortiz is taller than Giambi, and looks much wider...

krawhitham
That's up to kraw but I don't want to bother him with minor issues like that now that MVP06 is out and he's troubleshooting several reported errors. It'd be cool to have it implemented sometime in the future though but maybe not in UR 8.0 That is the goal, but I want to fix all issues with the teams first Another thing to think about. I did it for the 06 mod because PC users should download TC for classic players, they do not have that option with the Xbox. But like I said I'm for it because it would save me from having to release a 06 roster every time UR is updated

arossi12
david ortiz seems a little too skinny totte Yeah, I was going to post about that a long time ago, but then he had a heart problem and it seemed inapproriate at the time. But yeah, for a guy named Big Papi, he's way too skinny. On that note, I do believe that Rick White is also a little too thin.

I myself am 6'3", 280 and do not look as big as David Ortiz... and I am pretty sure I am not made of that much muscle.... he has to be really close to 300, IMO... The Big Unit
Kraw told me to post this here for the 7.5 UR Rosters. It's in regards to the rosters released with the Final MVP'06 mod. (The biggie). I had put it in the wrong section originally... Is this where one would post changes that should be or could be made to various teams line-ups/rosters? A friend of mine said he thought the rosters are current as of the date of release of the MVP'06 Final. If so, there's quite a few probs with the Brewers team. If not, then please disregard.... 1. Matt Wise shouldn't be on the team. Was put on DL on 8/19 2. Rickie Weeks shouldn't be on the team and starting in the lead-off spot at 2B. Was put on the DL on 7/30 3. J.J. Hardy shouldn't be on the team and starting in the 2nd spot at SS. He was put on the DL on 5/16. 4. Tony Graffanino is on the team which is cool because that tells me the rosters are semi-current (recent transaction), BUT he's starting in LF and batting cleanup?? Should be playing 2B for Rickie Weeks and batting second. He's never played LF and he's a punch n' judy hitter that would never bat 4th. 5. Corey Koskie shouldn't be on the team and starting at 3B. He's been on the DL since 7/16. David Bell is on the team which is good (another recent transaction), but he TOOK Koskie's spot when he went on the DL and should be starting at 3B. 6. Geoff Jenkins shouldn't be starting in RF. The Brewers benched him on 8/11. 7. Corey Hart should be on the team and starting in RF for Jenkins. 8. Bill Hall should be starting at SS (For Hardy) and batting fourth. He's been starting there every day since Hardy went on the DL on 5/16. Not always fourth, but always at SS every day. 9. Geremi Gonzalez should be in the bullpen. 10. Rick Helling should be in the bullpen. It's good that alot of the new guys we acquired recently around the trade deadline are on the team, which tells me the someone tried to make the rosters pretty current. But alot of the players on the team in this mod shouldn't be on the Brewers roster and a few that should be, aren't. This is in no way a rip one bit. I like the fact that I have some of these guys because we don't have alot of power to begin with and some of the guys who shouldn't be on the roster that are here are the bigger power/average players on the team, but if the ultimate goal is for realism, the timing of the rosters and reasoning behind some of the guys being on the team and some not being on, doesn't make that much sense in some spots. (i.e. Some guys that have been on the DL IRL forever this year are on and starting and some guys that we got just recently are on but riding the bench). kgbaseball
The problem with the Brewers is that they have an overload of starters, and with only 25 spots, you just can't have everyone on the MLB roster.

kgbaseball
I don't think there's any one way to do it; I wouldn't be 100% happy with it no matter how I rearranged the players. Hardy, Koskie, and Wise in AAA because they're all done for the year. Only reason Weeks isn't in AAA because I like him as the starting 2b over Graff. The only thing I can see myself changing would be moving Villanueva to AAA and bringing Wise back up, but I think Carlos will be in the rotation next year. Plus, it doesn;t hurt to have another quality starter.
arossi12
Does anybody else think that Weeks' stance should be Beltre? He doesn't wiggle the bat at much as Sheff, nor is his stance wide open like that.
kgbaseball
You're right, it's not quite as violent as Sheff, but he's more upright than Beltre/Renteria.
