abc006 Posted September 25, 2006 Share Posted September 25, 2006 i want to install 8.0, but when i try to, it "downloads" it, but when it goes to the winzip screen it asks to run/install previous files, not the current one i'm trying to, the roster update. this happened also when i tried to download the previous UR. what's happening? and since i have an issue with mvp 06, i'd like to at least have the new rosters. thanks alot! Sorry, I missed that part of the 500 tests :hmph: I tried simulating a dynasty and the game freezed at the simulation screen on April 23rd with the Red Sox. I was thinking that maybe it had to do with the 3250 player limit and when I add Shane Reynolds into the attrib.dat manually, it'd make the game crash somehow since there's 3251 then. I went back in time and looked at my old mbe.files and they all were at 3250 players so that can't have been the issue...? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Jesus Kraw, that's a hell of a lot of work. I haven't had any freezes yet, so I guess we'll see what happens. Also, I thought the Mod Squad and Forum Fanatics were going to be included in 8.0 Totte? I have a schedule.big file from a while ago that is different from the one used in UR 8.0. It is the schedule.big file that Hory released while back. I have never had any problems with that schedule.big file. Could this be the answer to the crashing issue Kraw? EDIT: I just realized that UR doesn't include the schedule.big file. DUH. It was the one included in the 06 mod. It says it was last modified on January something. The one that Hory made was later than that. This is just an idea, I could be completely wrong. Everything is the same as it was when I first installed the '06 mod. Anyone know why this might be, as I've never had any trouble with UR in the past? Did you install the rosters by using kraw's installer thingy or did you add the .dat-files manually? Did you export them by using MVPedit? Russ Martin: The issue with this is nothing I can fix. I've only assigned the cyberface ID for him in the Plus rosters to match the one big shmooz has in his updated models.big. If you find it too dark, contact shmooz and ask who created the cyberface and try and fix it that way. Jose Vizcaino: He has a generic face (910) in both of the versions of the rosters so I can't really see what the problem might be? Can you please post a screenshot? Hory Posted September 25, 2006 Share Posted September 25, 2006 I've been working on the freezing issue too - no freezing problems with 4 MLB, 28 AAA teams and all the other minor league teams and the free agent list. I get a second season freeze with Columbus, Colorado Springs and Detroit - those are the only ones I've been able to individually identify so far, there are definitely others too..
