tejdog1
Don't forget to add Deolis Guerra to the St. Lucie Mets. Guerra was born April 17th, 1989, he is a righty pitcher, with a 92-94 mph fastball with projection up to the 95-97 range, he has a plus change which sits around 80-82, and a decent but not spectacular curveball around 75ish. He also has a 79-80 mph slider which is a work in progress. BTW, he's 6'5,
ns2003
Hey guys, congrats on the awesome work. I'm a console player (XBOX) and was wondering when you may convert these rosters to XBOX? I'm using 7.5 right now,a nd they are amazing, so I'm 100% sure these will be even better! I can't wait to use them on my xbox and start having fun with a Marlins franchise. Thanks in advance! kgbaseball
I somewhat agree, being a Brewers fan. Although Doug was very inconsistent last year, I'd surely rather have him (a lefty) than Vargas. Doug strikes out more batters and has been overall more consistent the past 3 years. I love getting Estrada; that'll let Damian Miller be a backup which will allow him to play to his fullest potential. But giving up Eveland, who could be a very useful starter/reliever (he's only 23), could be a mistake down the road. It looks like the Brewers are going for immediate production, and not the "building for the future" cliche. Plus the fact that Eveland's a lefty hurts even more. That leaves Aquino for Krynzel, which is a straight steal for the Brewers. Krynzel had no place in the Crew's plans the next few years, so I don't mind losing him at all. Aquino is a hardthrowing righty with command issues, but I'll take him. Not a bad trade for the Brewers, but I hate losing Eveland.

Totte
So that's a no then? MarkB is my Yankees guru just like I have go to guys for other teams around the league where I have limited knowledge. I value all the inputs I get no matter who they're from very highly and I'm really grateful for them. Sometimes I have to fall back on my guru though, like when a subject that I don't have enough knowledge about is brought to the table and a decision needs to be made. I support MarkB in whatever his decision is regarding this...

Hory
I guess we better start writing those emails Dear Jorge Posada, Even though you have caught thousands of pitches from Wang over his career, you are wrong about him throwing a sinker. I hope in future, you will stop listening to the 99% of people that call it a sinker, and listen to the real authority in this area, a guy on a video-game web site who hasn't seen Wang pitch for several months. Thanks Dear Rob Neyer, you may have written an encyclopaedia like book covering pitchers from all eras and their pitch selections, relying on accounts from respected baseball writers at the time. But in the case of Chien Ming Wang, you are completely wrong. Although you have evidence and written accounts about him throwing a sinker, you are incorrect, this guy on a video game website says so. I hope you will correct this error in a future reprint of your book Thanks I understand that it's your decision, rightly or wrongly, to have MarkB is your guy with the Yankee rosters, but we went through this same retarded crap earlier when he refused to have Darrell Rasner & Brian Bruney in the rosters over some no-talent scrubs at Trenton. And then it turned out Rasner and Bruney were often used parts of the Yankee bullpen & rotation in September, and it was without doubt worthwhile including them in the 100-man Yankee rosters. SwinginSoriano
Just to play devil's advocate here, many pitchers call a pitch of theirs something different. For example David Wells constantly refers to a 'sinker' in his book as if it was often used in his repetoire. He sure as hell has a cutter, not a sinker. Anyway, I think of Wang as a sinkerballer so I agree with Hory and everyone else. Ron Guidry also calls Wang's 2-seam/sinker a sinkerball, he also refers to his changeup/splitter/forkball as a splitter.
