Just a pre-signing note: looks like it's a done deal that the Giants have signed Dave Roberts (it's basically been done for a week) - it appears that they are waiting for the meetings to announce it (god knows why).

I'll post the specifics of the deal when they do. :D

Awesome, thanks bro.

I've heard that it's 3 years @ 17,5 million $

Hi Totte!

Speaking of Durham and Feliz, I think it's time to make a change in Ray Durham's (26 HRs*) and Pedro Feliz' (22 HRs*) power.

Other players with more power than Durham and Feliz in the UR: Eric Byrnes (26 HRs*), Posada (23 HRs*), Tony Clark (6 HRs*), Luis Gonzalez (15 HRs*), Conor Jackson (15 HRs*), Ramon Hernandez (23 HRs*), Miguel Tejada (24 HRs*), Mike Lowell (20 HRs*), Trot Nixon (8 HRs*), Willy Mo Pena (11 HRs*), Jason Varitek (12 HR*), Matt Murton (13 HRs*), Ramon Castro (4 HRs*), Cliff Floyd (11 HRs*), Shawn Green (4*, 11 HRs), Jose Valentin (18 HRs*), David Wright (26 HRs*) and these are just a few.

*Last seasons

I hope I made my point ;)

BTW, Jason Varitek's (BOS) and Matt Murton's (CHC) power in the UR are way overrated.

Thanks for your input bro but I won't change anything as I've just reworked every MLB fielder and their batting ratings to reflect the 2006 season. I'm sorry that Durham & Feliz are "underrated" but all the players you wrote down have been edited using the same formula...

Durham's season last year was not "in the norm," so there shouldn't be a major overhaul of his ratings because of it.

And if I remember right, Feliz is rated 70ish in the power department - which is plenty. The seasons I've done with UR have had Feliz in the 20-30 HR range...so it works out realistically.

So in short, I gotta support Totte in his decision not to change it. :D

Pedro Feliz: Power vs LHP 61, Power vs RHP 65.

I agree with you on Durham, his power ratings shouldn't be changed.

Cleveland Indians

Signed RHP Roberto Hernandez ($3.5 million dollars) and LHP Aaron Fultz (?) to one-year contracts. Both deals include a club option for 2008.

San Francisco Giants

Signed outfielder Dave Roberts, who had been with the San Diego Padres, to a three-year $18 million dollar contract.

The Orioles resign Kevin Millah to a one year contract reportely worth $2.75M. He will likely split time as DH and 1B, and his contract includes an option for 2008 based on whether he can reach an undisclosed number of plate appearances.
