A note to all: I have changed my Yahoo IM, so if you want to get ahold of me instantaneously, drop me an IM there. If I don't respond, then duh, I'm not around.

perhaps you could make some of the prospects for this years up coming draft to fill in the FA list. also the guys who will be re-entering the draft like weaver and drew.

I need a vacation! Unless someone comes up with a way to cut down the FA list within the game, my best bet is probably going to be to edit down all the fakes to 0 ratings inside the game and release the rosters in .sav format.

That would have been my suggestion. Fake players who aren't picked up because they're terrible isn't so bad.

That idea sucks in my opinion, I mean a player going into the draft is not a free agent, and that would just keep things going the same direction as with the real good fakes getting signed and making regulars get sent down or cut. Hate the idea but maybe thats just me.

At this point, with my desired release date of today or tomorrow looming, I think my best option is to release it in SAV format. I'll then send Kraw the DAT files for "console friendly" if he would like to release it for console users.

can you make the cyberface compatible version compatible with all of the new cyberface that have been released? I can put together a list of the updated players and thier face ID #'s if you like

Actually, I may not even do the SAV thing now...To manually edit all 140 something fakes down to "0" ratings would take me hours...So I guess we're all just stuck with fakes afterall. :(

Oh Hory, I was going to ask, in case you had any free time, if you could help me make a few portraits for me of friends I'm going put in my game (no, they wont be in the rosters I send out to everyone, just for me)...Lemme know if you can and what kinda specs you need to make a good portrait, I know you're busy pushin out these great portrait sets...

Argh, sav format is yucky....

can we have a dat file version please, even if there is the fake player problem.

I agree, i don't care much for .sav roster files. is it possible to release both the dat and sav files for the pc so if those that don't want the extra free agents can use the sav and those that like the dat's have an option as well?

Here are some more ID's

Sorry Hyp, but I'm w/ Hory. SAV blows, I'd rather have DAT, if you can release both. And as for that vacation, you will stay glued to that chair and screen for my pleasure.

Here's another slap who could bump someone to the FA list.

Pete Walker-RP (made the Blue Jays)

Specs, Pic, Some Scouting : http://www.tsn.ca/mlb/teams/player_bio.asp...amp;hubname=TOR

Who to bump down? I have no idea. I sure some Jays fan who doesn't know Halladay really does throw a knuckle-curve will chime in.

Personally, I could care less about the 40 or so fakes, as long as the attribues are so low that nobody wants them. I'll probably never even scroll down that far.

Hyp,

Need to bump up Carl Crawford to 4yr., ~$30 million

Here's my one time stepping up to the plate for a D-Ray.

Crawford was voted "hands down" the best fielding left fielder in game by BA poll.

Quotes from some magazines:

"On defense he's electrifying to watch. He gets to everything and he plays w/ so much enthusiasm"-MLB scout, Street & Smith's

"He has outstanding body control and exceptional closing speed."-Sporting News Scouting Guide.

"He might be the best athlete in baseball...runs like Willie Wilson"-Lindy's Scouting.

1 error in LF in 2004.

This guy is a 15 and 15 guy in fielding and range. Watch Sportcenter and you'll see some of his Web Gems this year, probably every night. And now he'll be in CF w/ Baldelli out for a couple months. I'm out.

Make that Crawford signing at 6yr., $32.5 mill (The 4yr. above, I meant 4 more)

Here's some more from ESPN.com: His speed and athleticism allow him to cover vast amounts of turf and put himself in position to attempt plays others would have no chance on.

Hory, i don't normally like to go backwards either but on the most recent roster Garko is listed as 6405 and i didn't see him on your id list assuming it may be an old id. Jimmy Alvarez was listed as 7001. some of the imported players from total minors had last years id associated with them and i didn't see them on your id list on the player id thread so i just suggested changing them to 0 till numbers were given to those players. when i come across others, i'll post them here for you to designate id's.

As for Forystek, i wrote down what he was listed as in the roster instead of typing in his new id.

I should be able to finish these at some point tonight and then, i'll look into the oak, mil, bal stats problem.
