Redsoxkid
10 million for a pitcher who has a career ERA of 4.60? At least he can't hurt the Sox anymore.

sfgiantsflgators
Thanks guys I've made the transaction in the roster. The Dodgers are shaping up nicely heading into next season Hey Totte, this deal IS NOT official yet. Reports are that the Cardinals made a last minute push and Schmidt and his agent have not signed anything yet. Link is down right now but here's a quote from Bernie Miklasz of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch: "DeWitt and Jocketty have been told that there's no deal yet -- and that they (Schmidt and his agents) would like to still have discussions.... so as far as the Cardinals are concerned, there's still reason to have discussion with Schmidt's agents... and I am told the Cardinals are making a 'strong" offer.'" Apparently, according to RaptorQuiz, there was a live interview on a St. Louis radio station with Schmidt's agent, and his agent confirmed that a deal has not been signed, and that the Cards are making a push. Well when Schmidt and his agent stop doing interviews saying it's not, I'll believe you. ESPN might have some insider information, but I'd still believe those two over a reporter in regards to this issue.
sfgiantsflgators
What does look official is that the Dodgers have signed Luis Gonzalez for 1 @ $7 mil. http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/NASApp/m...xt=.jsp&c_id=la
firethebomb
You're going to have a lot of little moves with the Rule V draft and I think the percentage of the move actually sticking is like 20% so if I was you, I'd wait till the end of spring training to move all players.
