sfgiantsflgators
Aight, thanks for the info. Didn't know that one with Boone and the Mariners. Are they stockpiling they're lineup with experienced bats and infielders in order to be able to trade Beltre? hehe...it's the Marlins http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/press_r...t=.jsp&c_id=fla

TwentySeven
More info on the Boone deal - It is a one year deal worth $925,000 - performance bonuses can bring the deal up to $1.275M He will take over the role Wes Helms held - platooning with Mike Jacobs vs. LHP and adding depth at first and third. TwentySeven
I have ratings upgrades for two catchers: Maximiliano Ramirez - http://babybraves.blogspot.com/2006/06/pro...ax-ramirez.html He split time as a C and DH, projects to be a disciplined middle of the order hitter, could be moved to first or third base.. If he stays as a catcher, he projects to be all-hit little-field. IMO he has higher ceiling then you have him too. http://babybraves.blogspot.com/2006/07/pro...alamacchia.html Jarrod Saltalamacchia - Lower his ceiling a bit, but raise his plate discipline.. He had a pretty bad season, and though he still projects as a middle of the order hitter, it is a bit premature to put his ceiling as what you have it as. He projects also to be a all hit little field catcher, could be moved to OF/3B/1B..

Don't know for sure as the whole console conversion thing is up in the air based on some difficulties with something called hex ID within the player database. Stay tuned on the boards and check this thread daily as any news on the progress would be posted here.
Totte
Help wanted! I'd like to compile a list of gurus for each team in the league. Someone I can contact directly with questions regarding that specific team or player to get top notch info. If you know that you have a burnin interest in a team and knows the club from the inside and out, contact me and I'll add you to my list. Drop me an e-mail to totte@mvpmods.com (no PM's please) with your name and contact info (AIM/MSN, e-mail etc.) so that I can get back to you. Thanks So far I've received e-mails from guys regarding the Red Sox, Tigers, Mets, Yankees, A's and Giants. I KNOW there are more of you people out there that have good knowledge of your favorite team and its organisational depth so please sign up to help me out :)

It wouldn't be as in depth as someone who's a huge follower of the team, but being in KC I see and hear enough about them to put together a decent knowledge base. If a Royals fan wants to step up, by all means please do. Otherwise, I'll do my best to help where I can.

Has he played in the majors before? What role would Huff play with the Jays?
sfgiantsflgators
Why does Bubba Trammel ring a bell for me? Has he played in the majors before? What role would Huff play with the Jays? Trammel hasn't played since 2003 - 22 games with the Yanks. In seven seasons, he hit .261/.339/..459. As for Huff, he'd play the role of opposition with the Jays - as he's about to sign with the Orioles. :D

But 2 in 24 hours is probably enough - focus! :D

He played a few games for Tampa Bay's AAA team in '04 as well but got injured.. he's basically trying to make a comeback but he's more of a depth outfielder/DH for Baltimore's AAA team

lilfisch
Not to side track too much but... Bubba Trammell also played for my hometwon Tigers back in 1997. I met him in person and shook his hand and talked with him for about an hour. In fact, he gave me his autograph. DOES ANYONE WANT IT? :)

lilfisch
Not sure if this will help or not but... http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/hotstove06/index It shows the projected starters for every team, who they signed, who they lost, and who is still a free agent on the team
ns2003
Hey guys, just wondering how the xbox conversion of the rosters is going along? TwentySeven
Arizona Diamondbacks sign OF Dee Brown and RHP D. J. Carrasco to minor league contracts. No word on the value of the deals or anything like that. Happy new year, Totte!
tejdog1
Happy New Year, ALL! Hey Totte, got a request. Could you please (if possible) maybe not max out all the minor league rosters? Maybe leave them at 23 players each? I ask because it's really hard to make player additions with each roster set at 25.
