Totte
Random question....what are the top 5 ranked teams in ur rosters as of right now? To be honest, I don't know. Haven't been able to export the rosters for like a month since they've been a mess.
TwentySeven
Braves GM John Schuerholtz said Friday that he doesn't see Scott Thorman reduced to a platoon role with Craig Wilson at first base. So the cash-strapped Braves gave Wilson $2 million to act as a pinch-hitter? Nah. The Braves were also saying at this time last year that Adam LaRoche wouldn't be platooned, but he did sit against lefties until Brian Jordan got hurt. Thorman isn't as good as LaRoche and Wilson is better than Jordan. A platoon makes all the sense in the world. Ryan Theriot, who hit .328 in 134 at-bats for the Cubs last season, is expected to see some time in center field this spring. Though Armando Benitez will not throw off a mound until he reports to Arizona the first week of February, the Giants are penciling him in as their closer. Indians GM Mark Shapiro said Trot Nixon will likely bat second in the order against right-handers. When a lefty is on the mound, Jason Michaels will likely bat second. Alberto Callaspo, who is likely to make the Diamondbacks as a utilityman, will probably play some outfield this spring.

Totte
It's taking a looong time to add new players. Been at it for over two hours and I've only managed Arizona and Atlanta. If you have any mep-files of players you want in the rosters lying around the computer, please send them to me totte@mvpmods.com
cybernetic
Lyle Overbay is now listed as #17 on the bluejays.com roster. He gave up his #35 to Frank Thomas and was rumored to be contemplating using #11 which he used in Milwaukee but he'll be #17 this season.

SeanRobinson
According to the LA Times, the Angels' Dallas McPherson will be undergoing surgery on his injured back, meaning that he'll be out for at least six months (and thus the season). http://www.latimes.com/sports/baseball/mlb...orts-mlb-angels
TwentySeven
Andy Marte indicated that he needed to shed a few pounds while attending the Indians' winter development program last week. "I got a little overweight during the offseason," Marte said. "I feel better now. They’ve kept me busy." Barring a poor spring, Marte should enter the year as the Indians' third baseman. However, the Trot Nixon signing makes putting Casey Blake back at his old position an alternative should Marte struggle. Free agent Bucky Jacobsen is likely to play in Korea or Mexico this season. Totte
Ok thanks Rob and Totte...Just wondering when do you plan on a xbox update...This has probably been asked...sorry There was an issue with something called hex id's that didn't work out to 100% on console versions causing crashes. This wasn't something that you'd notice on the PC version so it kind of caught us all by surprise. Thanks to Tony3, we've tried to change some players back to original hex id's in order to make it work but we haven't been able to try it out yet as I don't have a complete version of UR with the fix yet. There's no guarantees that the fix will work but we consider it a good shot.
