Totte
Jays notes: The latest reports about the Jays pitching staff says this: -Jeremy Accardo and Brandon League will likely start the year in AAA. -Josh Towers may be used out of long relief to start the year. -Victor Zambrano has all but made the team -If Towers moves to the pen, either Casey Janssen or Shaun Marcum will be the 5th starter, otherwise it'll be Towers This all but means the bullpen/rotation is shaping up like this (although an official announcement will be made soon): Rotation: 1. Halladay 2. Burnett 3. Chacin 4. Ohka 5. Janssen/Marcum Bullpen: CP - Ryan SU - Frasor SU - Downs MR - Rosario/Tallet MR - Zambrano MR - Marcum/Janssen LR - Towers The Jays are actively shopping Rosario who's command is not ready for the big leagues.. Tallet has had a bad spring but may make the 'pen by default after a good year last season and is out of options as well. Fixed :wtg:

mkharsh33
Thanks!! Hope it works out...appreciate the work you guys do. I just returned my copy of MLB 2K7 to EB Games - the game is a joke. - - - - Signing (from Buffalo Bisons web page) - Indians: The Cleveland Indians today announced that they have signed pitcher Mike Koplove to a minor league contract. Koplove, 30, owns a career Major League record of 15-7 with two saves and a 3.76ERA in 217 relief outings with the Arizona Diamondbacks from 2001-06 (248.2IP, 225H, 104ER, 101BB, 171K). He was a key member of the Arizona bullpen in 2002 (6-1, 3.36ERA, 55G) and 2003 (3-0, 2.15ERA, 31G). His 217 relief appearances rank third in Arizona franchise history. Koplove last pitched in the big leagues in 2006 for Arizona (0-0, 3.00ERA, 2G). He was released by the Florida Marlins yesterday out of Major League camp. cybernetic
Fixed :wtg: Tallet was outrighted to Syracuse (AAA) today after clearing waivers so Rosario will get a spot in the pen by default if he's not traded.. Geremi Gonzalez is the next guy in line or Accardo if he is moved. Also as far as the 5th starter thing, if Zambrano can give them 6 innings in his next start it'll be his. If not, it's Towers' and Zambrano will start the year in the bullpen. Janssen is starting today against the Yankees. Ohka was officially announced as the 4th starter to start the season.
