Nice work Totte. The Cubs minor league rosters are a little outdated but most of the important prospects are there.

Every player on the A-AAA roster is currently a Cub. They may not all be 100% accurate with which team they are on, but when guys are hurt and on the DL you have to make adjustments to fill the 25 man roster.

So the models.big will be inlcuded with it? I thought I read that PLUS was included with the 8.2 download it said a few posts back.

All I need to know is what I need to do to use the PLUS version. Thanks!

Actually there are a couple who weren't assigned and released... Besides, what I said was outdated. Position changes, rotations, etc. I very well understand the problems with injured players but I wasn't referring to that. I was talking about two guys at the wrong levels that you could just swap to the right level. And I'm aware I could do this myself. No offense intended at all - kg and Totte do better than anyone on having accurate rosters for a video game. Just as a perfectionist I'll make note.

Great work as always, Totte!

Quick question...I know it's a minor detail, but thought I'd ask...do you want us to post jersey number corrections? There are quite a few that could be made in the Royals' organization (mostly Omaha).

Ian Snell should have a slider with a ton of movement - it's how he got those 11 strikeouts the other day.

Justin Duchscherer needs a control upgrade - he walks very few batters.

Kiko Calero's slider should be his best pitch - one scout said of him "I've never seen anyone who throws his slider that much". It is his primary pitch, it's pretty decent. It has decent movement too.

Oakland released Erubiel Durazo.

Matt Bourn (Philadelphia) should have very high speed, 98 or 99. One scout said 'he could be one of the six fastest players in baseball'.

Adrian Gonzalez should be one of the best defensive first basemen in baseball.

Seattle released SS Michael Garciaparra

Pirates prospect Andrew McCutchen is starting at double-A this season. +

Yeah that'd be sweet. Post any changes you think should be made too you know players moving down from AAA to AA etc.

My point exactly :)

Which players?

For example for the bolded part, Kroeger is on your AAA team but he will be starting for AA Tenn and you can release Geoff Jones, meanwhile you have several players in AA who really need to be in AAA like the current #1 starter J.R. Mathes, Ben Howard, McGehee, and O'Malley. For another spot you can remove Hector Almonte who IS on the roster but it'd make more sense to drop Almonte (who is only on the roster right now as filler for the injured pitchers) and have all on the Iowa squad. That's AAA from what I remember. An example in AA/A is Matt Craig (AA 3B you have in A) and Chris Amador (A OF you have in AA.) You can drop Luke Hagerty from AA (who is unassigned and at Arizona complex indefinitely)...

Instead of pointing them all out, I'll post the teams' depth charts:

Players in (parentheses) are either on the DL, currently injured or held back in EX-ST.

Players with ** are some suggestions of journey-organizational type you could leave out for roster space.

IOWA

C: Geovany Soto, Koyie Hill

1B: Micah Hoffpauir

2B: Eric Patterson, Mike Fontenot

3B: Scott Moore, Casey McGehee, (Mike Kinkade)

3B: Matt Craig, Jemel Spearman

SS: Joe Simokaitis, Francisco/Issmael Salas

OF: (Sam Fuld), Josh Kroeger

OF: Chris Walker,

OF: (Ryan Harvey), Jorge Cortes**

SP: Sean Gallagher, Donald Veal, Mark Holliman, Justin Berg, Kevin Hart, (Chris Shaver)

Josh Lansford (3B), Mark Pawelek (RP), Jeremy Papelbon (RP), Dylan Johnston (SS), Jose Ceda (SP), Billy Muldowney (SP), Andy Lopez (OF) are a few of the top prospects for their position who are currently in low A. Most of them should see A+ later this season.

Since this is the opening day release there are many changes that will happen over the coming weeks. Any suggestions will be looked at for sure though.

As for Haggerty he was a former first round pick who unlike fellow first rounders Bobby Brownlie and Chadd Blasko did not get cut recently. Since his CAP was already in the game he was left in for now.

My apologies. I'm not sure what happened I didn't mean to post it again. I must have pressed a wrong button or something. Again my bad, thanks for the update. I can't wait to start a new dynasty with these rosters!
