great job Totte! Question, I thought the models.big to go with these rosters was being released yesterday. Do you know when?

Sometime today is my guess. Shmooz had some trouble uploading the files yesterday through the ftp

There are some changes that needs to be done to some cyberface ID's in the rosters in order to make it work with the new models.big by Shmooz so I'm gonna upload a new set of rosters. I'll let you know when it's finished so stay tuned to this thread.

I know he was DFA'd but now they've released him?

That's me bad, he was just DFA'd

re: the new cyberface ID's, can you post a list of which changes need to be made? I just started a new dynasty with the latest rosters, and I already edited the rosters and added all the injuries in MVP Edit, and I don't want to have to do that all over again.

I understand and my intention was to post that list once I'd uploaded the new file  . You'll get that list posted here within the hour :)

I've fixed the uploaded version of the Plus roster so it's definitely 110% compatible with the new models.big by Big Shmooz. If you've already started a dynasty or done a lot of changes to the rosters yourself, here's a list of what I've done so that you can do it yourself:

Brad Eldred (PIT), Carlos Ruiz (PHI), Ryan Madson (PHI) and Michael Bourn (PHI/AAA) had their face styles change to No.

TB/MLB - Akinori Iwamura - face ID set to No/82

FLA/MLB - Ricky Nolasco - face ID set to No/406

PHI/MLB - Greg Dobbs - face ID set to No/165

PHI/AAA - J.A. Happ - face ID set to No/508

PHI/AAA - Joe Bisenius - face ID set to No/349

LAA/A - Nick Adenhart - face ID set to No/445

COL/AAA - Ubaldo Jimenez - face ID set to No/32

ARI/MLB - Tony Pena - face ID set to No/312

FA's - Ismael Valdez face 406 > Generic (pick one from 901-915)

FA's - Benito Santiago face 165 > Generic (pick one from 901-915)

FA's - Mike Remlinger face 508 > Generic (pick one from 901-915)

FA's - Terry Adams face 349 > Generic (pick one from 901-915)

FA's - Hideo Nomo face 32 > Generic face 906

FA's - Shinji Mori face 312 > Generic face 906

For those of you that do it yourself, I'd go with 907 for Valdez, 904 for Remlinger (full goatee, mullet), and 904 for Terry Adams (full goatee).

Will this be included in the patch that Kraw is set to release?

These changes don't affect the 07 mod patch as the 07 mod isn't based on the models.big by Shmooz.

Hey, isn't Alex Gordon's face supposed to be (NO) for 04 face? Just wonderin'.. Thought his face was fairly new..

No, it's an 04 Face according to my list.

It's all in the creation process, how the modder designs the face.

DET/MLB - Fernando Rodney - face ID set to 725

FA's - Todd Pratt - face 725 > Generic (I suggest face 901 or 904).

Well, I'm just surprised b/c MarkB said that he wouldn't be including Dellin Betances and Joba Chamberlain b/c they hadn't contributed anything yet, and he hadn't seen them.

At the start of February, this was true, but, hey, plans changed. ;) When I made this post, I had actually already created Betances and added him to the roster - just didn't want to ruin the surprise. :D I just recently added Chamberlain as well.

You know where I am if you need to know anything. BTW, shoot me an e-mail if you have any thoughts on the latest updates. :)

OK, I've been going through a hole bunch of contract values, and something is wrong with your rosters. I'm getting guys like Philip Hughes who should be making the league minimum, but your rosters have him at like 4 million. It's like that with a whole bunch of players. A-Rod isn't making 25 million, Giambi isn't being payed near what his contract is, etc etc.

Huh? That's weird. Do you get those values if you look at the rosters in MVPedit too?

I'm seeing Hughes at 133 for 3 years, A-Rod at 8515 for 5 and Giambi at 6766 for 4 here.

I'm not opening in MVP Edit, but in the MVP Dynasty Editor, I do get them wrong also.

However, I just looked at the salaries on the default rosters you uploaded, and it seems fine. For some reason, when I used the ingame editor to edit the players, it changed their salaries. Strange.

Since this is the opening day release there are many changes that will happen over the coming weeks. Any suggestions will be looked at for sure though.

As for Haggerty he was a former first round pick who unlike fellow first rounders Bobby Brownlie and Chadd Blasko did not get cut recently. Since his CAP was already in the game he was left in for now.

I understand changes will be made but I'm talking about Opening Day rosters. If you're not interested in 100% accurate Opening Day minor leagues then no problem. If you DO want them to be accurate then I'm telling about the changes to be made. Some of the decisions of which players to demote for space doesn't make much sense and some players aren't even in the org. anymore.

Hagerty was actually a sandwich pick but that's beside the point. He shouldn't be on the AA roster. He's currently unassigned and will be at camp likely until released. He didn't get the cut along with his draft peers because he's seeing the team psychologist while they fix arm angle and start from scratch. He was a top team prospect years ago, but he's not now. There are more important prospects now that are missing from the rosters.

The way this is dragged out and I have to keep defending fact it makes it look like I'm complaining. I'm not... I appreciate that these two roster makers make them more accurate than anyone else - I'm just trying to help make them perfect. I'm involved with the Cubs so I'm very close to their rosters. Yes, players will continue to move (that's why I listed a few players not on any of the 3 rosters yet but will be later) but I thought the point was where they are at today.

No worries. We all want the rosters to be as best as they can and any input helps.
