thebeav
Hey Totte I know you decided on the 3/4 high kick for Masset, but he does bring his glove over his head on the wind up. I looked through all of them and I think it should either be 3/4 SP/RP or Schilling. I've decided to go with Schilling on mine because it is a little slower like Masset's. chwalton213
Boston Signed Carlos Almanzar and Lincoln Holdzkom to minor league deals. Lincoln Holdzkom :Scouting Report: Big, hard throwing righty reliever. His repertoire includes a mid 90s cut fastball, a two seamer, and a slurve. Missed some of 2006 with a jammed shoulder. Missed 2004 due to TJ Surgery. Age: 25 Born: March 23, 1982 Pasadena, CA Height: 6-4 Weight: 240 Bats: Right Throws: Right
alcoholicstepfather
I was watching the Braves game tonight and they announced Willy Aybar has been suspended indefinately for breaking team rules. Apparently Aybar has not been coming to the ballpark for rehab. I wouldn't take him off the rosters entirely, but I would demote him to Myrtle Beach until he gets his act together. Also, you might want to change Brian McCann's batting stance to Larry Walker. It not quite the same, but he does lean back quite a bit. The only real difference that I see is McCann stays pretty still.
kangarooboy78
Where are Carl Everett and Matt Lawton these days? When you're on the wrong side of your 30s and hitting .227 and .259 like Everett and Lawton in their last major league stints, a job can be hard to come by. I couldn't find anything on their where-abouts. I say Everett is going to school to become a Palentologist and Lawton is de-steroiding himself. DoubleD
I'd like to see them in the FA pool, and if they still aren't on a roster next year, then remove them.

herky
Cubs 2007 Prospect Power Rankings: Week 2 (Per Scout.com) 1. Micah Hoffpauir: 1B, Iowa (Triple-A) .369, 4 HR, 7 2B, 23 RBI, .411 OBP His 12-game hitting streak recently came to a close, but the 27-year-old continues to rack up the RBIs. He has almost as many home runs as strikeouts (five). 2. Carlos Marmol: SP, Iowa 2-0, 1.65 ERA, 16.1 IP, 24 K, 4 BB, .183 AVG The right-hander began the year at Triple-A wanting to get his fastball over for strikes after walking as many batters (59) as he struck out in Chicago last year. The work has paid off thus far. 3. Mark Holliman: SP, Tennessee (Double-A) 2-0, 0.00 ERA, 21 IP, 16 K, 3 BB, .184 AVG The 2005 third-round pick makes the biggest jump this week after throwing 15 shutout innings last week en route to the Southern League’s Pitcher of the Week Award. 4. Mitch Atkins: SP, Daytona (Class High-A) 1-1, 1.69 ERA, 16 IP, 14 K, 4 BB, .148 AVG The Cubs’ minor league wins leader from a season ago hasn’t gone very deep in many games thus far in ’07, but his average against is the lowest of any starter in the farm system. 5. Billy Muldowney: SP, Peoria (Class Mid-A) 2-1, 3.32 ERA, 19 IP, 21 K, 4 BB, .288 AVG Last year’s eighth-round pick is likely to drop since he was placed on the disabled list Monday following his most recent start over the weekend. In three starts previously, though, he struck out 20 in 17 innings while walking just two. 6. Matt Matulia: SS, Daytona .356, 0 HR, 9 RBI, .415 OBP After making the jump from short-season A-ball straight to High-A, he’s racked up eight two-hit performances in his 16 games thus far, and has reached base safely in all but one game. 7. Les Walrond: SP, Iowa 2-0, 1.06 ERA, 17 IP, 10 K, 3 BB, .179 AVG The 30-year-old left-hander enters the week with the second best ERA for any starter in the Cubs’ system and has gone the deepest into games for his team. 8. Sean Gallagher: SP, Tennessee 2-1, 3.12 ERA, 17.1 IP, 17 K, 5 BB, .206 AVG Always a popular presence in our rankings, he struck out a season-high eight and scattered two runs across 6 2/3 innings in his most recent start. He enters the week with the third most strikeouts in the Cubs’ farm system after finishing second in that category last season. 9. Matt Craig: 3B, Tennessee .361, 1 HR, 4 2B, 6 RBI, .410 OBP The infielder was slugging .556 before going on the DL with a thigh-related injury following a collision at home plate on Friday. 10. Chris Walker: CF, Tennessee .345, 2 HR, 2 2B, 9 RBI, .387 OBP A nine-game hitting streak, in which he batted .447 and had seven multi-hit games, bumps him into the top 10. Honorable Mentions Felix Pie (OF, Chicago) : The crown jewel’s first big league promotion exempts him from this week’s list. Scott Moore (3B/LF, Iowa) : His 13 RBIs are the second most in the farm system entering the week, but his .218 average through 18 games is well below par. Jeff Samardzija (SP, Daytona): Still looking for his first win after allowing as many hits as innings pitched (15). Matt Avery (CP, Daytona): Enters the week with four straight saves. Tyler Colvin (OF, Daytona): For someone who made the jump from short-season to Advanced A, last year’s first-round pick is batting a respectable .280 entering the week. But his on-base percentage is hovering around the .300 mark.

Totte
Thanks for the input guys. I'll get my internet access this week but I'm going to London on Thursday-Sunday so I won't be around the boards on a daily basis until early next week. cybernetic
Jays notes: C Gregg Zaun will be placed on the DL before tonight's game after breaking his hand yesterday on a foul ball off the bat of Eric Hinske. He will see a hand specialist today and then the Jays will decide if they will place him on the 15 or 60-day DL. Sal Fasano is expected to be purchased from Syracuse (AAA) as he is hitting much better than top catching prospect Curtis Thigpen right now. felmlyd
i love the rosters accuracy as far as who's on what team all te way through but i think you should work a little on ratings for Top prospects and Star Pitchers and Hitters Phil Hughes and Homer Baily Two guy prjected out to be aces can get below 4.5-5.0 eras in AAA and A-Rod has like 77 power also gold glover mark texiera feilding ratings arnt to hot and a lil pet peeve of mine Chein Ming Wang doesn't have his number one pitch the Sinker which earned him the 19 wins and second place finish in Cy Young Voting last year
