Totte
i love the rosters accuracy as far as who's on what team all te way through but i think you should work a little on ratings for Top prospects and Star Pitchers and Hitters Phil Hughes and Homer Baily Two guy prjected out to be aces can get below 4.5-5.0 eras in AAA and A-Rod has like 77 power also gold glover mark texiera feilding ratings arnt to hot and a lil pet peeve of mine Chein Ming Wang doesn't have his number one pitch the Sinker which earned him the 19 wins and second place finish in Cy Young Voting last year Thanks for the kind words. To answer your questions... Philip Hughes and Homer Bailey (+ the other 98 Prospects): Have more or less been re-worked in the upcoming version. Mark Teixera: Same thing here, his ratings has been fixed for the upcoming version. A-Rod: All batting ratings are based on three year splits so they won't be changed. Chien Ming-Wang: The 2-seamer is his Sinker. It's got heavy downward movement.
felmlyd
thanks for the reply i still think a guy whose gonna have 500 HR before he turns 32 should have a little more power than 77 but i understand and he is more of a line drive hitter who happens to knock some of those line drives out
Pudge77
yeah like one every 3 or 4 at bats lol ..hes simply amazing (for now)
MarkB
Rest assured, no matter what happens for the rest of the year, his ratings will be updated at the end of the year to reflect his overall season. If he continues his torrid treatment of pitchers, his ratings will probably take a significant hike. If he levels off to the same sort of stats he posted in 2006, there won't be too much change. Either way, the ratings will be accurate and reflect the sort of year he had.
DoubleD
Also, if you disagree with a single players ratings, you can just change them yourself. I disagree with a few ratings that Totte gives out, but as a whole he's normally spot-on, so I just make a few adjustments. This isn't the be-all-to-end-all roster file, edit it to your hearts content.

kangarooboy78
Quick Carl Everett update: I just read an article in S.I. and he's playing in an Independent League....it doesn't specify. So he is alive and still not believing in the existence of dinosaurs. P.S. I don't have MVP 05 for PC just for ps2, but is it possible to play it without the CD in the drive...... Remdog
Cliff lee has been throwing a slider, which is basically a slow cutter with more movement, from what he says in the paper.
pujols
Righthander Kelvin Jimenez, who was 1-0 with a 1.59 earned run average in seven games at Memphis was purchased from that club and added to the overall 40-man roster and lefthander Randy Keisler, ineffective in his third of three starts on Thursday, was optioned to Memphis. TwentySeven
Just a small thing, but Troy Tulowitzki shouldn't have 5 star potential - he doesn't look like he'll even be an all-star. He's so highly rated because he's a lock to become a regular major league starter with good defense from short, but he won't be a terrific hitter. A comparable player could be Alex Gonzalez. cybernetic
Jays update: Troy Glaus was activated off the 15-day DL and INF Ryan Roberts optioned to Syracuse (AAA). This doesn't effect UR since you would not have moved him. Josh Towers has been demoted to the bullpen (LR) and Victor Zambrano moved into the rotation in the #5 spot. He'll make his first start on Wednesday against Cleveland.

Yeah I read that about Everett too :wtg: There are several threads about playing the game without the CD in the drive. I'm not sure but I think someone found out a way to do so. Totte
Cliff lee has been throwing a slider, which is basically a slow cutter with more movement, from what he says in the paper. Noticed this post from MLB.com too but I already had him with a slider at 82 mph in my rosters. Don't know why :chin: :D

Totte
Reds Cormier DFA'd and Salmon called up Marcus McBeth is one of the PTBN for Denorfia I'm sure Cormier have worn the Reds uni for the last time. He'll be gone by Wednesday. Yankees maybe? They're in big need of dependable relievers since their starters are hurting leaving their bullpen with the most appreances in the majors. cybernetic
I'm not surprised at all.. I'm a bit surprised of how short of a leash he had. Anyway another Jays update: AAA RP Matt Roney has been placed on the restricted list likely meaning he's been suspending for testing for a banned substance which carriers a 50 game suspension. If so, the team may just release him outright.
pujols
Good to see you back posting bro! How've you been? I've been alright, I've been trying to start a baseball team with my friend, hence why I haven't been on so much, but that fell through. Went to the game Friday, was awesome, was 7 rows back from the Visitors dugout. Got Kennedy's RBI double on camera, plus some other pics. How've you been man? alcoholicstepfather
The Braves trade OF Ryan Langerhans to the A's for a player to be named or cash. Willie Harris has been called up from Richmond. This move surprises me, but Langerhans simply ws not hitting. He's a hell of a defensive outfielder, but when you're only hitting .050 it's tough to keep your job.
