evil1182
Did you see that throw he made on the fly to the plate from rightfield on the ESPN game wed. night? :pistols: That was a shot, I didn't know he had a arm like that.
nutts55
best new gun in the majors is Josh Hamilton Check out this throw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVH9O6q3eDU It was posted by some one named Gforce - I wonder if it is the old gforce from this board. Expos4Ever
Ok, a few changes from what I've seen Meche's curve looks more like a 12-6 to me Better control for De La Rosa, maybe take a way 1-2 mph on the fastball, he isn't throwing as hard this year. Pena Jr. is amazing with the glove, throw can be erratic at times but he has tremendous range and throwing power. James Shields' changeup is better than in the game, watch his highlight, you'll see, hitters know it's coming but still couldn't hit it. :joystick:

felmlyd
I love the rosters but: Elijah Dukes needs a complete overhaul I know you have said you don't want to change this but A-Rod with 78 power common hes gonna hit his 500th HR this year. Kei Igawa is way too good on your rosters watching him pitch live brought me down to earth on him. His stuff is pretty good but he has yet to figure out that 93 MPH fastball doesn't cut it up in the zone in the majors in any case with his performance thus far i def think u should cut him down a bit This might be a fluke but uh B J Upton is smacking the cover off the ball now he aint the next A-Rod (at least not yet and probly never) but i do think hes earned a little bump in his stats Also Kelly Jhonson is feilding his spot and hitting the ball. I think hes gonna come down to earth a little but i also thnk he deserves a little bump in the stats aswell. thanks Keep up the good work
TwentySeven
Kei Igawa has poor control and not a very good fastball, but decent movement on his breaking pitches. Elijah Dukes is a poor defender in center field but can hold his own in the corners.
felmlyd
Dukes has amazing range and a strong arm he just gets bad breaks on balls because hes raw Kei Igawa is addicted to throwing up in the zone which might work in japan but is gonna get you smacked here

alcoholicstepfather
Jarrod Saltalamacchia should have Piazza's stance (Piazza, Alou, and H. Matsui all are close.) He should also have batting gloves and a normal catcher's mask.
DoubleD
btw Totte, do you change pitchers batting ratings in the offseason based off their stats?
herky
Casey McGehee was sent to Double-A Tennessee from Triple-A Iowa, while catcher Tony Richie was promoted from Tennessee to Iowa, the club's announced Friday.
herky
In case you need a spot to fill for the Cubs, this is a good suggestion for A Daytona. He's currently got an ERA of 0.56 with 4 saves and 20 strikeouts in 10 appearances. Jerry Blevins Pic: http://media.scout.com/Media/Image/42/426489.jpg #31 RP 6-6 175 9/6/1983 Bat L Throw L In his repertoire, Blevins features a fastball that is commonly in the low 90’s (90-92 mph), though he reports to having topped out at 96 mph at one point in his minor league career. He complements his fastball with a changeup and a slider-curveball variation. Throws sidearm and is a finesse pitcher.

Btw, I searched for Luke Hagerty on milb.com and didn't get a hit so I removed him from the Cubs rosters (AA). Am I correct about that move? pujols
Chris Lambert, the Cards' first-round selection in 2004, was moved up from Double-A Springfield to Triple-A Memphis. He'll make the move from starter to reliever. Lambert started five games this season with Springfield before being promoted. In his first appearance with Memphis, Lambert pitched two innings in relief and allowed one run. The move is not believed to be temporary, but also not permanent. kangarooboy78
That works! I know 2 years ago he pretty much did have Alou's stance but he recently dropped the bat down. "Apple" Pie's Alou batting stance is too stiff to be his stance. Crouched or Vina would probably be better options.... Also, I'm not sure if the roster spot left open by the unfortunate passing of Josh Hancock has been filled but why not add the relative of a former major leaguer in A.J. Van Slyke

cybernetic
Jays signing note: The Jays have signed RP Jim Crowell to a minor league contract and assigned him to Syracuse (AAA). Here's an article on the signing from MILB.com. He got released from Ottawa which is now the Phillies AAA affiliate after making 2 bad starts there. http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/news/ar...t=.jsp&sid=t552
