You're out of your mind, it's the same as it's always been.

No, you're wrong. In the game he has Schilling delivery. In today's game he had Randy Johnson's delivery. Maybe it has to do with the hamstring.

Clemens delivery was normal. He usually has the Smoltz delivery but sometimes he doesn't raise his arms over his head. I always keep switching him from Smoltz to 3/4 High Kick and back. Clemens should make up his mind!

The last time I saw him pitch was for AA Trenton a couple weeks back, and he was 3/4 High Kick most of the time.

You'd think he would have us in mind when he's on the mound, wouldn't you?

04-May-07 Oakland Athletics traded Charles Thomas to the Milwaukee Brewers for J.D. Closser.

Can't believe I missed out on that :protest:

A Sonnanstine scouting report (Sonnastine and Howell are now in the Devil Ray's rotation)

4smFastball: 87-88 MPH

2smFastball: 80-82, 1-7, ok movement

Splitter/Sinker (Not sure which it is, you have splitter so I assume that): 85 MPH, 12-6, ok movement

Slider: 76-78 MPH, 10-4, good movement

Slurve: 75-77 MPH, 12-6/11-5, good movement

Change UP: 75-77 MPH, 12-6, ok movement

6 pitches...He throws the splitter the least, so you could do w/o that, or just combine the slider/slurve.

This dude has AMAZING control on all his pitches. His walk ratio's are insane (1.38 throughout the minores, has yet to walk somebody in the majors as of me typing this in two starts). And he changes arm angles a LOT, so I can't give you a deffenitive windup.

devil ray's rotation:

S. Kazmir

J. Shields

E. Jackson

J. Howell (I didn't think of doing a scouting report when he started the other day...the only thing I really remember was his fastball only being 82-84 MPH and having real good control)

A. Sonnanstine

Closer: A. Reyes

SU: G. Glover

MRP: S. Camp

MRP: B. Stokes (Might want to change him to RP from SP)

MRP: C. Orvella

MRP: C. Fossum (Keep him SP though)

LRP: T. Corcoran (Keep SP)

Lineups (Against RHP)

3b: Iwamura

2b: Upton

LF: Crawford

CF: Baldelli

1B: Pena

DH: Wiggington

RF: Young

SS: Harris

C: Navarro

LHP:

3b: Iwamura

2b: Upton

LF: Crawford

CF: Baldelli

1B: Wiggington

DH: Norton

RF: Young

SS: Harris

C: Navarro

In both cases, w/o DH, just put the player playing DH on the bench and lineups are the same.

bench:

C: Paul

IF: Cantu (Change him to IF, he's been playing 1b)

OF: Dukes

You can use 8.2 for now since the 8.3 hasn't quite been released. You will get some people with the wrong face though. I played 10 games in a dynasty and had about 4 people with the wrong face which wasn't too bad. 2 on Detroit and 2 on KC.

I'd appreciate a little help with a minor thing guys. Could you dig up SP's gone to full time RP's (or spot starters) in the minors this year? I only know one way to tell and that's looking at the specific player and his stats at milb.com and see how many games he's appeared in compared to his starts.

Thanks for helping out :wtg:

I don't know if you got this one Oakland released RP Jay Witasick on the 7th. Tampa Bay is considering signing him.

I just know he was DFA'd a while back. Thanks for the heads-up dude
