cybernetic
Utilityman Matt Kata is now playing for Indianapolis after Pittsburgh signed him to a minor league deal following his release from Texas STL has reportedly signed RHP Tomo Ohka to a minor league contract. He's expected to make 2 starts for Memphis and then join the Cardinals rotation. He can opt for free agency if he's not called up within 10 days of his signing. Jays: Move Cory Patton to the DH spot in Dunedin and have him bat 6th According to my sources in the Jays camp, John Thomson's rehab assignment is finished and he will be released soon. As is Victor Zambrano's.

bhall09
Hey, is it possible to get updates for PS2 anymore? And if so, where? I see there is an April one somewhere, but I figure all this work done here should be modified to PS2 also. Let me know please.
cybernetic
The Jays have released SP John Thomson today... make the following movements: Mike MacDonald > AAA, add in rotation Move Jo Matumoto to AA Move Kurt Isenberg into the rotation and put J.M. in LR Matt Roney's steroid suspension is over and he's now in AA so move him there and move up Jordan DeJong. DeJong can be in SU and put Roney in MR in AA. Machi can be moved to SU. I recommend you create SP Billy Carnline or RP Sean Stidfole in Dunedin. Stidfole is now in AA. clevindn
Indians designate Roberto Hernandez for assignment. They called up Ed Mujica to replace him, but he will likely go back down when Jake Westbrook comes off the DL. So, I'd bring up Jason Standford to replace Hernandez instead. cybernetic
LAD has released OF Brady Clark. Nobody wanted to take him at his salary and have to carry him all year with him being out of options. He'll probably sign on with someone to a minor league deal soon and become a 4th or 5th outfielder.

TwentySeven
Scouting Report - Joakim Soria: The Royals would like to put him on a Johan Santana-like plan, meaning he will finish this year as the set-up man for Dotel or will close if Dotel gets hurt again, and then after completing this initial Rule 5 season, he will get a chance to compete for a starting rotation spot in 2008 or 2009. He has mainly been throwing fastball-change-slider coming out of the bullpen this season, but he threw a 69-mph slow curve the other day to strike out Scott Rolen that was just filthy. His fastball is deceptively fast (reads 91-93, but really seems to sneak up on hitters) and has nice late movement. He could turn into a really good starter someday, in my opinion. Start A LF Jeff Culpepper in LF and bat him above Mota. Move AAA Iowa SS Carlos Rojas to AA Tenn. I think that should even the rosters out.
