The Jays have signed LHP Scott Sauerbeck to a minor league contract and he's now pitching in Dunedin.

Your take on the signing?

I think it's really more of a depth thing.

So he won't make it to the majors again unless something really unexpected happens?

The Peoria Chiefs have released first basemen Ryan Norwood.

Bo Hart was signed by the Iowa Cubs.

And Adam Harben is no longer on the milb.com site so I've dumped him too.

Toronto has released OF Jeff Duncan from AAA Syracuse. You can now move Wayne Lydon up to Syracuse and start him batting lead off in CF.

I recommend moving Aaron Mathews up to AA and added CF Luke Hetherington to Dunedin. He can start in CF and bat lead off for them.

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Catcher Kelly Stinnett, outrighted by the St. Louis Cardinals on June 28, decided not to report to Triple-A Memphis, the team said Wednesday.

Stinnett batted .182 with one home run and four RBIs in 10 games, nine of them starts, while Yadier Molina was on the 15-day disabled list with a broken wrist.

The Cardinals also released right-hander Tomo Ohka, signed to a Triple-A contract on June 19.

Ohka was 0-2 with a 6.87 ERA in three starts at Memphis.

Do you have a cap or maybe some mor info on Hetherington? What kind of ballplayer is he?

Will Ohka sign anywhere else? No!

What do you guys think?

The Cubs signed two players to minor league contracts and assigned them to Triple-A Iowa on Wednesday. Pitcher Mike Nannini joins the Cubs’ system having recently spent time with Double-A Altoona. Additionally, the Cubs signed INF/OF John Nelson and assigned him to Triple-A. Nelson, previously spent time with Triple-A Memphis.

Here's a link updating Adam Harben's recovery.

Sorry I don't, I can really only go by the numbers. He seems to be a Juan Pierre type player but from the right side. Good speed, good fielding in CF, hits for average but not much pop. He hit 5 last season in low A and has 2 so far this year. If it's easier for you, you can add Eric Nielsen instead of Hetherington. Nielsen has been the starting RF for Dunedin all of last season and this one. He's had better numbers overall this season and really was a victim of the numbers game.

Jays have signed SP Jeremy Cummings today as a minor league free agent and he's been added to the Syracuse roster.

Do these corresponding moves:

- Add Cummings to AA New Hampshire since he's an injury replacement and put him in the rotation as the 5th starter.

- Move Kurt Isenberg back down to A as a LR
