Haven't been around lately, but have been watching baseball.

A few things

Tim Lincecum has a new changeup that he uses. It's really weird as it has screwball action on it(2-8 or 1-7 movement, VERY sideway away from LHB). Very inconsistent, when it's working it has good side movement(2-8 more than 1-7) at around 84-85ish. When it's not working it looks like Eric Milton's fastball, no movement, 89mph(I'm SURE it's not his fastball and it's a bad changeup that was 89)

Jamie Shields

He has a lot of changeups. I need to chart his pitch speed next game and get back to you. But he has a straight on, one that breaks in, and one that breaks out. Thanks for doing this Totte

Seattle Mariners DFA RHP Jason Davis, he will probably will be released.

Reitsma is back from the DL.

McLaren said he will use Reitsma as the righty setup and Sherill as the lefty setup.

O'Flaherty, Green and Morrow in middle relief, and i guess throw Ryan-Rowland smith in LR

Do I drop Rhodes and Mateo then to make room for Green and O'Flaherty? I dropped Jason Davis to FA's from AAA and put Rowland-Smith in AAA (had him in AA).

Get back to me on both these guys with an exact description of what pitch you want added and I'll fix that.

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Catcher Kelly Stinnett, outrighted by the St. Louis Cardinals on June 28, decided not to report to Triple-A Memphis, the team said Wednesday.

Stinnett batted .182 with one home run and four RBIs in 10 games, nine of them starts, while Yadier Molina was on the 15-day disabled list with a broken wrist.

The Cardinals also released right-hander Tomo Ohka, signed to a Triple-A contract on June 19.

Ohka was 0-2 with a 6.87 ERA in three starts at Memphis.

So in other words, Stinnett is a FA now?

Totte,

How are the Cubs slots looking A-AAA. If you need any suggestions on who to create I can offer some players to add. I had surgery for an abdominal hernia yesterday morning and am off work until Thursday or Friday to recover so I have some free time. If not no worries.

AA Tenn SP Sean Gallagher to AAA Iowa

Gallagher was actually called up a couple days ago to the big league squad. He took the place of Billy Petrick who was sent back down to AAA.

http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/news/press_rel...t=.jsp&c_id=chc

AAA Iowa C Koyie Hill to MLB Chicago (Start at C and bat last)

Personally I would put Bowen as the starter even though he and Hill are splitting a lot of time, but he has been playing the most recently (within last week or so)

Since Dempster is on the 15 Day DL there aren't enough roster spots to put Gallagher on the Cubs roster.

Hill and Bowen could be started either way since they do seem to split time. I agree Bowen has played more within the last week. Either guys starting would work.

Thought that I'd shed some light on what I've done for UR 8.5 that I'll release right before the HR derby on Monday night.

Besides keeping up with transactions and stuff you've posted here on the boards, you get updated All-Star teams (thanks to kraw). But then there's more...let me explain what I mean by the term overhaul: making an overhaul to an organisation is setting up the rosters on each level to reflect the real ones, editing jersey numbers, appearances and player info (ht/wt/postions). I'm talking about editing a players attributes and ratings to reflect the past year (and in some cases the beginning of 2007), fixing linedrive spray charts along with other minor stuff that further will enhance your complete gaming experience.

So what teams will have had an overhaul in the next release? Brace yourself! Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnatti, Cleveland, Detroit, Houston, LA Angels, NY Mets, Philly, Oakland, San Diego and Washington. That's 12 teams my friends! More to come as I'll squeeze in at least Pittsburgh too before the release.

So tell me...are you as excited as I am? :D

I'm ecstatic, can't wait to start my Mets. WooHoo :balloons:

Do I drop Rhodes and Mateo then to make room for Green and O'Flaherty? I dropped Jason Davis to FA's from AAA and put Rowland-Smith in AAA (had him in AA).

drop rhodes all together, he's out for the year and only had a 1 year deal.

Davis to aaa, Mateo has been in AAA since early june.

This should be the Mariners bullpen in mvp

LRP- Ryan-Rowland Smith

MRP- Eric O'Flaherty

MRP- Sean Green

MRP- Brandon Morrow

SU- Chris Reitsmas

SU- George Sherrill

CP- JJ Putz

Sweet! An overhaul for Philly!

EDIT: I never got around to doing this so, do I install Big Schmooz's models.big first then UR 8.4 or 8.5 (when it comes out), or vice versa?

Doesn't matter. Shmooz will release a new models.big tomorrow too.

Be sure to grab any of Shmooz's new versions (Lite, Umachine or Lite) and my UR 8.5 Plus.
