Was Dan Kolb ever released by the Pirates? He's not listed as on their team on MLB.com but milb.com has him as "Reserve List (Minors)"

Kolb was released from the Pittsburgh Pirates and declined the option to go to AAA Indianapolis. As a result he is a free agent as of June 21st 2007.

Just what I figured, thanks :)

Wooo! Looking forward to it!

As a final note, make sure you up Casey Kotchman's ratings to reflect this season--after last season's sick leave the formula made his ratings look like he should be in AA, but as of today he's hitting .291/.365/.490 for a combined OPS+ of 129 (4-season career total: 96) . Totally understand if it's too late to squeeze this in for the update, though.

That's the case this time, sorry.

I'm pretty sure I adjusted his ratings a little bit too. I don't remember...

UR 8.5 is up

What’s new in this version?

• Transactions are up-to date as of July 9th (6 pm ET).

• Updated 2007 All-Star Teams (thanks to krawhitham).

• Completely revamped organisations for Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnatti, Cleveland, Detroit, Florida, Houston, LA Angels, NY Mets, Philadelphia, Pittsbirgh, Oakland, San Diego, St.Louis and Washington.

• Edited tons of stuff you guys have been sending me and posting in the forums.

• Plus the usual minor tweaks here and there to improve your gameplay even further (ratings, appearances etc.)

Keep an eye for the new models.big matching this download by big shmooz within the AS-break.

It's been a long time since I worked so hard on an update and hopefully you'll notice it. Enjoy and don't forget to leave a donation if you like the rosters. All donations willl go to the Children's Cancer Foundation to help cancer research and shed some extra light on cancer sick childrens days.

Yes!

And do I install bigschmooz's modelsbig first then UR8.5?

The order of which to install first does not matter. But you should wait till the new version that is compatible with 8.5 is uploaded. Download that one & install.

Cybernetic--Looks like that was reflected in the update...

Great job, Totte! I'm pretty pleased with the way the Angels rosters came out, especially with the amount of fluctuation/reorganization they've had going on. Two quick things, though, one factual and one suggestion:

1. Carrasco has been DFA. I know we haven't passed the 10-day window yet, but I haven't seen any sign that he'll actually be traded anywhere, so it would probably be best to out and out put him on the free agents list, as you did with Hillenbrand.

2. Not a major thing, but you might consider lowering Orlando Cabrera's power a bit. He typically hits about 9-12 homers in a season, but the last few season-sims I've done have resulted in OC hitting 18-25, which more than likely will never happen. A minor thing, though.

Thanks for all your hard work on these!

Didn't I have that signing in the 8.5 rosters? I know I made that transaction :chin:

Did they get uploaded and I missed them? Or haven't they been Admin checked?

They are already uploaded but I think Trues has not read his PM's yet. I upload the files a different way than most people due to it's large size. Trues then transfers it for me. As soon as he sees his PM from me he does it. Actually due to the uniform updates by KCcitystar, I may reupload that version.

Okay, thanks, and no problem. I was just wondering if I had computer troubles or something.
