I'm watching the Reds game(irrelevant) and I think you should make Jarrod Saltalamacchia's stance Gary Sheffield, right now i believe you have it as Piazza

Salty has very different mechanics from each side of the plate. From the right side it is similar to Sheffield. I think I'm using Green. It's not exactly the same, but it's as close you can get.

Some more Cubs moves. They've been busy with promotions it seems.

A Daytona infielders Robinson Chirinos and Nate Spears, and catcher/first baseman Alan Rick to AA Tennessee.

Not sure if you'll agree with me, but I'm just telling you in case it can help. I moved my Chipper Jones' throw accuracy up a little bit because everytime he plays 3rd base his throws are accurate. Always. He fields really well but throws really great at 3rd base. Otherwise, his D does suffer at times like he's known for.

Edit: Cameron Maybin's plate disc. is too low, IMO. It shows 30 for your latest version. In 2006 his OBP was in the 380s, and currently it is in the 390s. Or vice versa.

Same deal with Suzuki, who is in AAA for Oak.

2007 OBP is 351, 2007 OBP was 392. His rating in the game is at 40 currently. Just letting you know bro.

Conor Jackson played LF last inght and is apparently being showcased for a trade to CWS, so that would be a good idea to make it his secondary position.

Who would go the other way to the D'backs? Contreras? Vasquez?

I've doubled the PD of Maybin and Suzuki - good call.

Also fixed the fielding ratings for Chipper :wtg:

u da man.

Vaz/Vasquez has his no trade list set to all western league teams in the AL and NL, from what I've heard. So it would be Contreras. Contreras for Connor Jackson makes no sense to me though.

Apparently there's nothing imminent right now between the two clubs.

Probably Garland then cuz I don't think the Sox would shop Danks.

I didn't know Hassey had been released but it's not a surprise. He was moved up to AAA to fill in as a depth guy and stunk up the place. Now that guys are back from injury he's finally let go.

The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced they have acquired infielder Cesar Izturis and cash considerations from the Chicago Cubs in exchange for a player to be named.

Does this signal Jack Wilson's departure?

The Pirates would be stupid to outright release or DFA Wilson. He is a good MLB shortstop. While you wouldn't pick him as your ballclub's ideal SS, he is comparable to what a lot of teams have, i.e. Eckstein, Cora, etc.

Wilson is a slick fielder too. I'd take him back in St. Louis please!
