Totte
hey does anyone no if posednik goes to the cubbies? Haven't heard anything about it since last week. I'm pretty sure nothing will happen though. Murton has hit 3 HR's since he was called up from Iowa and they've got good speed on the bases with Theriot and Cedeno. wrigleyville33
so does he stay as a sox?
arossi12
You only have 48 hours after a waiver claim to facilitate a trade, which passed about 2 days ago or something. Posednik is still a member of the White Sox. Same situation with Kei Igawa of the Yankees.
chwalton213
Masterson: "sidearm - 3/4"??? That's two different deliveries. Buchholz: You thinking "Overhand SP/RP" or...??? Thanks though but I'd like to pick your brain a little bit more  sorry about confusion i would go with 3/4 delivery and bucholz should be sp, he has been sent back down allready. lilfisch
Better callup #4 Cameron Maybin for the Tigers. I can't believe that they just DFA Craig Monroe. They also called up Santiago and sent Infante to AAA What is going on in Detroit? Are we in panic mode?
tnova4
Maybin got called up to AA a week ago, hit 4 HR in 6 games, and looked so good that they called him up right away. Monroe has been slumping for months and he's not really played with the caliber of the rest of the team. He's in his 5th year, so he gained the option to refuse a minor league assignment and thus will leave the team in the next 10 days.

Didn't release a set after the deadline due to one reason - I didn't have a completed product that I felt lived up to UR standard...but the new one I've got coming...OMG!!!
Totte
Better callup #4 Cameron Maybin for the Tigers. I can't believe that they just DFA Craig Monroe. They also called up Santiago and sent Infante to AAA Dropped Monroe and called up Maybin. Watching the NYY-DET gave now so I'll see what he looks like and get a feel for his skills. What is going on in Detroit? Are we in panic mode? Good question. I'm sure they're feeling the pressure from both MIN and CLE. Dropping Monroe might seem like a drastic move to make but consider how much the guy makes and how badly he's performed so far this year, I think it's a good move to make. Sure Maybin's only 20 years old and is probably 2-3 years away from being an everyday MLB player but the fact that the Tigers have recalled him says something about what they feel about him. skibz
Well Maybin's got a HR off the rocket to straight-away center. 20 years old... power and speed. Geez... Detroit's got a pretty bomb scouting squad.
DoubleD
Your thought on this? Well, he had some small arm surgery work, and it seems to have completely messed up his control. 2005: 2.69 BB/9 2006: 2.90 BB/9, but 2007: 4.65 BB/9 But he's also only 23 and has the possible upside of returning back to form, so I'm deffinatly not exactly happy. With all of the pitching prospects we have he likely didn't have a future with us, but we could have atleast used him as trade bait if he went back to his old form. The thing that bothers me the most is, if we were going to waive someone to make room on the 40 man roster, why not waive Chris Seddon? We claimed him off waivers earlier in the year from TB, and he has a 4.87 ERA in AA and a career ERA of 4.49 in 7 minor league seasons. I'm sure he would have passed through waivers...and if he didn't, not that big of a loss.

BigRog
possibly generic (atleast thats what ive found on sites for the show. generic is the same stance as mvp)
TwentySeven
Micah Owings needs to have a hitting upgrade. For a pitcher, he's hitting .279 with 3 homers and 11 RBI (from the 9th spot) in 44 AB.
