Totte
Could someone please scout the Reds starting pitcher Tom Shearn tonight? He's making his second start of the year and I'd like to know about his repertoire, delivery etc. Thanks to anyone who takes on this project :)
philliesphan18
Hmm...let me guess...Steve Trachsel? Kinda forgot one player there in your post didn't ya? Thanks bro! Whoops! philliesphan18
St. Louis Cardinals acquired infielder-outfielder Russell Branyan from the Philadelphia Phillies in exchange for a player to be named later.
DoubleD
Here you go for Shearn (this is based off his start against the marlins last week): 4sfastball 88 MPH Curve 69 MPH 12-6 good movement Slider 81 mph 11-5 pretty nice movement 2seam 83 mph 5-11 ok movement He threw mostly the Curve, Slider, and 4seamer. Good control of his fastball and pretty decent control on the curve and slider. an over the top delivery, I'm really bad at picking out deliveries though so you'll have to get help from someone else with that. arossi12
Mussina is close enough to Shearn's delivery.
realblackhart
i dont know if you've edited the attributes of some of the mets players. i have when i play with them. Jose Reyes Lastings Milledge John Maine Billy Wagner Ramon Castro are better than the default attributes in the game. G. Mota isn't as good as the default attributes in the game I have also redited other players on other teams but i'll let their fans tell you theirs. Also Pedro Martinez will be on the team on Monday when they play the Reds in Cincinati,
dcarsnyy
Ian Kennedy's pitching motion: Greg Maddux
Friedman
Ian Kennedy's pitching motion: Greg Maddux Yeah, either that or the standard over-the-shoulder motion. But out of the stretch, he looks kind of like Mussina, but it has to be one standard motion. I'd go with Maddux too.
cybernetic
I'll add Kennedy right away but do you feel that Leek and Mahomes really needs to be added? Not in my opinion but you're the Jays boss  Since they're not in UR, I wouldn't bother

I think Maddux is better because his motion is more compact than the standard overhead one..Also, Kennedy and Maddux have similar leg kicks. Also, I think Phil Hughes should have Glavine's motion. I tried it out, and the windup is dead on to me. The stretch isn't quite right but in my opinion the windup is perfect.
lilfisch
Not sure if this was mentioned but... Tigers pitcher Andrew Miller was optioned to Class-A Lakeland, recalled right-hander Virgil Vasquez. In addition, Detroit acquired left-hander Clay Rapada from the Cubs as the player to be named in the trade that sent outfielder Craig Monroe to Chicago. Rapada will be assigned to Triple-A Toledo. The Detroit Tigers today announced the club has acquired right-handed pitcher Chris Lambert from the St. Louis Cardinals as the player to be named later to complete the trade on June 22 in which left-handed pitcher Mike Maroth was sent to the Cardinals. Lambert will be assigned to Triple-A Toledo.

SeanRobinson
Angels activate OF Juan Rivera from the 60-day Disabled List. The current UR has him in Single-A, so he should be put on the MLB roster. I expect that Garrett Anderson and Reggie Willits will continue to share LF duties, however, so Rivera should remain on the bench for now--I can't imagine that they'll hand the starting job to him after nearly 9.5 months away from the majors. In the meantime, LAA has DFA'd P Greg Jones in order to make room for Rivera on the 25/40-man. http://losangeles.angels.mlb.com/news/pres...t=.jsp&c_id=ana

tejdog1
Pedro Martinez should be put into the MLB rotation, and since we can't do 40 man rosters, I'd send Pelfrey to AAA (since Duque isn't out for any length of time (I hope (pretty pwease))).
