evil1182
if you start a dynasty and you download a brand new UR, will they show up in the game, or at least the changed ratings of players changed once a dynasty is started? Nope.
Totte
How's the aged players looking in dynasty? Haven't been able to try it myself yet but I did chnage them the way I thought was right :)
cybernetic
I do believe A.J. Burnett throw a slider at times, not as often as his knucklecurve, be he does throw a slider, and it 10-4 clocked at 85mph if I remembered correctly Incorrect, that's a changeup... he throws 4 pitches: 4SFB 2SFB KCRV CHNG His change is mid-to-upper 80s and does move a bit like a slider
cybernetic
There is room for a slider, cause the pitchers are 4-seamer, knucklecurve, change, and sinker. Shaun Marcum has no changeup, his best pitch? He cuts his changeup, not that he throw cut-fastball. Turn down the fielding rating for Ray Olmedo, or turn up that value of John McDonald, cause their fielding performance is not at the same level. Matt Stairs kills righties, and hits reasonably well against lefties as well Marcum actually has like 8 pitches if u count his cut-change thing... 4sfb 2sfb cfb slider curve change cut-change

And apology for making the mistake on A.J. Burnett, it's really confusing at times. Remember K-Rod's slider? That's really the same bug.

He rarely even throws the 4-seamer really but in MVP you have to have a 4-seamer so that kinda limits the other pitches. I'd say he needs these other pitches: 2-seamer change slider curve The reason Marcum has a split in the rosters is cuz they were calling his change a splitter last season (cuz of the movement) but it was the cut-change or something.. either way it should be replaced instead of it. (velocity 83-85, left diag traj. and high movement probably 8-9.) Get rid of his cutter also and put in a curveball mid-high 70s velocity.. list it 77 I guess... 12-6 and big break (maybe ) As for Burnett, he kinda throws his change with more tilt than others.. it may be more like a slurve (make it 11-5 trajectory). You want me to change any of this? I'm a bit unclear on what exactly to do so please let me know what pitches that should be replaced and what should be added
BigRog
totte i believe pedroia should be batting 1st or 2nd. youk should be in the 5 or 6 spot lugo leading off possibly Lugo Pedroia Ortiz Ramirez Lowell Drew Youk Varitek Crisp this is from looking at their past couple games but adding manny into the equation its up to you just a suggestion

hmsrenown
You want me to change any of this? I'm a bit unclear on what exactly to do so please let me know what pitches that should be replaced and what should be added Because last year it is not a full major league season for Marcum, I would take this year's commentator quote. I would call it a cut-change, and it looks like a change-up grip on TV at least.

hmsrenown
Interestingly, Jacoby Ellsbury has been leading off for Red Sox in these couple games against Toronto. Guess he would be the future leadoff man for BoSox. And Reed Johnson is on a timeshare with Matt Stairs, Johnson is great against lefties, but oh my, Matt Stairs just exceled situational hitting, especially against righties. Guess he would be the future leadoff man for BoSox. You're right, he's a projected leadoff man and future CF for them with his speed. He'll have a regular spot in the lineup next year. Can anyone say "bye bye Coco" :D

I'm a bit unclear on what exactly to do so please let me know what pitches that should be replaced and what should be added Ok Totte, do this: Shaun Marcum: - Remove split and replace with change (listed above) - Remove cutter and replace with curve (listed above) AJ Burnett: - Change trajectory on change to 11-
Totte
Ok Totte, do this: Shaun Marcum: - Remove split and replace with change (listed above) - Remove cutter and replace with curve (listed above) He already has a curveball. Should I just keep the cutter and fix the CRV-ratings?

fred13
Also, if you look at McGowan's grip on his curve, its actually a knuck-curve.

Totte
Also, if you look at McGowan's grip on his curve, its actually a knuck-curve. Still the same movement, command, velocity and trajectory or should I change that too?
cybernetic
He already has a curveball. Should I just keep the cutter and fix the CRV-ratings? Yeah, sure. As far as McGowan, his curve is a knucklecurve and his change is a circle change. Velocity and everything the same really.
