I have installed 8.61 and Big Shmooz's Model file and now I can barely hit a homerun, 4 in 13 games with the Blue Jay's...either my timing is really bad or something is not kosher. Any idea's?

Owen

Replied to your PM with the following

Go tweak your gameplay tuning settings and boost "User power" and maybe even "User batting contact". You can also reduce the pitch speed if you feel the pitches are coming at you too strong.

NYMets RP Joe Smith in the game has Damons Long Hair

That's because you're using another models.big file than the one from big shmooz. Damon has been changed to # 29 and Joe Smith replaced him at ID slot # 65.

You can tell we're in the Playoffs and heading into the off-season. LOL

The board is dead for now.

Can't wait for the off-season though, I wish Detroit would at least make mention of A-Rod

Yeah talk about a real dip in hits on the boards and my thread :)

Anyway, I'll start a dynasty soon and actually start to enjoy the rosters myself :wtg:

Are you planning to post it?

Thing is I'd like to do a wicked dynasty and post stuff here like a bunch of other great people do but I'm afraid I won't have the time. I guess I'll end up playing that extra game instead of spending 30 mins of posting stuff about it.

I know how you feel, that's why I stopped posting mine.

Just an update, Nook Logan should have an ELITE range factor in the 90s. According to several resources I've talked to, he's very elite, almost Andruw-esque.

Finally some love for Nook. Yeah the guy makes a web gem 5 times a week.

Marlins:

Reggie Abercrombie claimed off waivers by the Astros.

Jose Garcia claimed off waivers by the Athletics.

Doesn't matter on the first account (AAAAbercrombie)

What the hell are the Marlins thinking on the second...Minor League player of the year in 2006, out 2007 with arm injury. and now trying to sneak him past waivers...ugh. Well there goes a good bullpen arm.

If the guys were 30+ years old I'd call it rebuilding but now it's just stupid :yernuts:

Hey Totte I use this thread to manually update my rosters since I have a ps2...its very helpful....but i think i might have found something that will help you out.

http://baseball.bornbybits.com/plots/players.html

Its a website that tells you what most pitchers throw, and the average speed off all their pitches is.

I didnt lok at it too long...if this turns out to be worthless then sorry.
