Haha every team has actually already had an overhaul based on the BA 2006 Handbook but I'm working my way through the 2007 one now

btw when do you think the next ur is finished ?

Spring Training but I might sneak in an update after the WS but that one would only be an improvement from UR 8.61 ratings wise. No transactions or anything.

Anyone up for a little roster assignment? You need to have the 2007 BA Prospect Handbook if you are...

I'd like someone to help me with my annual Prospect Handbook overhaul to the rosters. What I do (team-by-team) is read through all the scouting reports and compare the facts from the book with what I have in the rosters.

For example, the handbook lists a pitching prospect as having fastball at 90-92 mph while I might have him at 94 mph in the rosters. That obviously needs to be changed ...or... it could be smaller stuff about a batter and how good he is at bunting and that isn't reflected in the rosters. You write it down, report it to me and suggest what needs to be changed. I think you all get the idea of what I'm talking about

The teams I've completed so far are ATL, BAL, BOS, CHC, CLE, COL, SD and WAS.

Anyone up for it?

Mauro Zarate was claimed off waivers by the Padres, from the Marlins.

This is seriously starting to **** me off. Why are we waiving all of these bullpen arms and yet still keep the likes of Chris Seddon?!

Tigers acquired shortstop Edgar Renteria from the Atlanta Braves for pitcher Jair Jurrjens and outfielder Gorkys Hernandez.

Guess this ends any chance of A-rod coming to (Mo)town

You excited bro?

Guillen moving to 1st base with Renteria coming into town to play SS?

Of course I would rather have A-Rod at short over Renteria, I mean who wouldn't? I am happy with the deal. It fills a spot that needed to be filled. Though, I was not too impressed with Renteria when he played for your Red Sox. However, like "they" say, maybe a change is all he needs. Now we just need an everyday Left Fielder instead of a group of them (Thames, Perez, Maybin)

Totte, one request...

when you release the next roster, could you include Joe Girardi as the Yanks manager? It would be greatly appreciated.

Also the only Detroit Tigers who should have high socks are Inge and Granderson. (Not Byrdak, Grilli etc)

Thanks,

lilfisch2001

So what does Grilli and Byrdak wear? Low or medium?

I'm gonna try my very best to have the managers done and updated with the new update but I can't make any promises at this point.

Long time no post :D

Jack Taschner of your San Francisco Giants needs some pitching changes:

Keep fastball, up speed to low to mid 90s (I say 92).

Change splitter to slider, velocity around 84-86 with average movement. Probably a 1-7 drop (or 11-5, whichever works for left-handers - I can never remember).

Change 2-seam to changeup, velocity 83-85, average 12-6 drop.

EDIT:

Also, you should probably add Angel Villalona for next season. More than likely he's going to be in San Jose in 2008. Nothing to worry too much about until your spring training release though - BA will probably have some good information about him in their next handbook :D

i meant to post this earlier but it spaced me until now, phil hughes throws a knucklecurve instead of a curve. if you watch some video from this postseason, at least to me, it looked like he was throwing a knucklecurve.

Whole bunch of real-life :D

Right now, just work and posting my dynasty when I have a minute or three free. I've actually decided to finish up my last year of my bachelor's degree next year, so I'll be a poor college student again starting in January :bum:

Hows it go with you?
