There's no latest version available as it was taken down due to a crashing issue. I'm working on the new version as we speak

The Cubs recalled Sean Marshall from Class AAA and assigned Carmen Pignatiello. Marshall becomes the Cubs' only left-handed reliever.

Jeremy Papelbon is not starting and is a RP again.

Just to help you out, this is a Cubs A-AA pitching rotations (in no order) based off the games played so far. I included just in the game and not in the game.

Totte, I have a question:

When you set the A-level roster for a team, do you use the exact high-A roster, or do you try to incorporate talent from all A-level teams in the org? Because I can probably give you a pretty good roster for Houston's A-level, Salem, that blends in the talent from their other A-level teams (Lexington and Tri-City).

Cub news

Minnesota traded OF/1B Doug Deeds to the Chicago Cubs organization Thursday, as the player to be named later in the trade that brought Craig Monroe from the Cubs to the Twins.

SP Dae-Eun Rhee has been hot so far for low A Peoria (2-0, 0.90, 12 K in 10 IP). He's the Cubs #16 best prospect. He’s listed as 6′2 and 195 lbs, which is 10 lbs. heavier than his signing weight. He throws right-handed and his birthdate is 3/23/89. What makes the team really excited about this kid is the fact that he’s already throwing three pitches well and is working on a fourth. His best pitch is a tailing four-seam fastball that usually comes in between 87-93 MPH. He can locate it to both sides of the plate and has very good control overall. He throws a well-developed 11/5 curve that drops as low as 73 and a less-developed splitter in the 77-82 range. The fourth pitch is a power slider.

SS Jesse Garcia was signed by AA Tenn since Matt Craig is going on the DL.

AAA Iowa C JD Closser to FA

C Tony Ritchie to AAA Iowa

For single-A, I try and mix all the A-levels. It's usually done on a base of each teams BA Top 30 prospects

You're more than welcome to send over a list of what your Salem roster would look like and I'll check it out. totte@mvpmods.com

Cub Updates

I guess C Tony Ritchie is still doing active rehab at Extended Spring Training on his rib cage and isn't at Iowa yet. The I Cubs website listed him as being called up but he hasn't been. JD Closser is still on the I Cubs for now.

OF Jeff Culpepper has been MIA since since Minor League Camp (when all he was able to do was take BP). Nobody knows where he's at right now. He's not at Extended Spring Training.

Doud Deeds is at AA Tennessee.

Cubs order verse lefties.

Soriano, LF

Johnson, CF

Lee, 1B

Ramirez, 3B

Fukudome, RF

DeRosa, 2B

So is the plan to release the rosters as "opening day rosters", or current rosters as of date of release?

DocTDC

It's a tricky question. I've prepped the rosters to be released as Opening Day right know but looking at how much stuff I have left to fix before I have that top notch UR quality, I'd probably be better off going with a current roster as of the release date.

Speaking of a release, I have to be honest and say that I don't have a clue when the roster will be ready. I want to bring high quality and I don't have that at the moment but we're heading in the right direction.

As of right now, I'm aiming for mid-May because of a "non UR friendly" private life the next couple of weeks.

Take your time man. I'd rather play with a polished set anyways.
