i don't know if i mentioned this before but Gookie Dawkins (tigers), Kenny Kelly (reds), aaron holbert (reds), and jason bourgious (braves) are black not white and brandon sing (cubs) is white not black, felix hernandez (mariners) is spanish not black and jessie gutierrez (reds) is spanish not white. i will be on the lookout for other players with wrong skintone.

Regarding this, do you guys have Robinson Cano as balck or hispanic?

He's black in real-life, just in case.

And Chieng-Ming Wang is asian obviously.

Just bringing this up if it needs corrections.

Also, Dawkins is 26, not 22.

Hey JTC...are these guys IN Japan now or have been in the past? Because I thought Chapman and Elder were in the US this year...

Metalboy...common mistake when editing, when creating a new pitch in MVPEdit, 36 is the default for everything, BBY just forgot to input the velocity for that one...It'll be fixed...

Not quite sure of this will be of any use to you guys, but this looks promising. Full scouting reports from Inside Edge from last year's World Series. It appears to have pitches with velocities, tendencies, and hot and cold zones. Here it is - http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/reds...ayoff_scouting/

NOTE: You do have to register to see these, but it's free and doesn't require you to get any e-mails or anything...

Gabe White- AAA Memphis (Cardinals)

Greg Myers - C - Blue Jays

Blue Jays released catcher Greg Myers.

Like this will really help. The 39-year-old Myers was off to a 1-for-12 start as Gregg Zaun's backup. He opted for his release rather than accept an assignment to Triple-A Syracuse. Apr. 26 - 3:29 pm et

Ken Huckaby - C - Blue Jays

Blue Jays purchased the contract of catcher Ken Huckaby from Triple-A Syracuse.

Huckaby was batting .219/.242/.219 for Triple-A Syracuse. He certainly won't be any kind of an offensive upgrade over Greg Myers, but he is the better defender of the two. No fantasy value at all. Apr. 26 - 3:27 pm et

First of all, as a new user to the site, I want to say thanks for all your hard work.

I didn't have time to read all 130+ pages of updates, so I figure I'll just throw in my contributions here based off of what I see in the roster files.

Hopefully this helps.

LA Dodgers

Notes: http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/NASApp/m...jsp&c_id=la

Numbers changes: Jason Phillips (9), Jason Repko (17), Steve Schmoll (40, not in game yet), DJ Houlton (27)

Most of the new players' appearance ratings (height, weight, DOB) are off from what is given on the Dodgers' roster. I'll go through it in more detail to check the differences.

As far as pitchers' pitches go...

Buddy Carlyle has a fastball, a tailing fastball, a change, and a curve. Pretty decent command of an over-the-top curve that has pretty decent break. Both his offspeed stuff land in the 70's range, while his fastball tops at 92. [source: game footage]

I can confirm that Gagne's "Vulcan" change grip is more akin to a circle change grip since the movement on it is that much greater. But he can throw it with the velocity of a straight change, yet it's got the movement of a circle change.

A few other player notes:

Nori Nakamura is not that great a runner... speed should be lowered (low 60's), as should baserunning ability... above average arm from 3rd...

Jason Repko is "an outstanding defender in all three outfield positions" (http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/article.jsp?ymd=20050407&content_id=1008172&vkey=news_la&fext=.jsp&c_id=la).... so speed, fielding and range should be CF-like numbers, while his arm should be above-average too... likes to hit low balls against both LHP and RHP [source: game footage, all his HRs came from hitting a low ball], has a tendency to pull the ball...

Those are the main two ML'ers that I wanted to touch on; I'll compile the full minor league affiliates and hopefully with stats, although I'm not sure how to approach that part of it... :x

Let me know how else I can help out!

Excellent first post, new users like you who actually are helpful are far superior to the users who spread and reak of negativety like shoeless joe, I would also like to add that schmoll throws from a sidearm deleivery.
