bbythepier
my bad Hyp, you can make it official, I'll do SF. But if anyone had stepped up and taken them, I would have had both eyes over their shoulder anyways. I was actually hoping to do the Dodgers, so I could make their farm system (maybe the best in the bigs) as bad as the Giants Death Valley of hitting talent. Shucks. gcurrier2004
bby your right the Dodgers are listed as #2 by Baseball America for talent ranking only behind the Angles, but I think the Dodgers are actully better.
abacusand13south
Lowry- every fastball is a straight-as-an-arrow “hit-me-pitchâ€, no tailing 2-seam whatsoever, he throws a slider now but thankfully like twice a game, changed 2-seam to slider and made it worse than 2-seam was, his money pitch is that circle change which is excellent (he threw 3 of them to one of the Padres righties the other might, maybe Aurilla, with one wild fastball mixed in and K. He throws one fastball in the vicinity of the plate to Blum and its Oooooouta here!), left change alone (even the speed is right), but increased mov’t on pretty good curve Not to nitpick bby but aurilla doesnt play for the pads anymore, maybe you saw garcia or nady? jbmagicfan
abacus- jbmagicfan, do you see what I mean with Wunsch (got the spelling right this time) on the Dodgers? He's perfect against the lefties in the division with his sidearm junk. HypnoxXx will tell you not against Gonzalez on the DBacks the other night, but Luis has his belly-button facing the pitcher. No pitch starts behind him, like it does on closed stances like Helton and Snow. yep i notice that. :)

jtc324
HypnoxXx i get what your saying about the portraits but i use a ps2 unmodded. when you import players, for instance, pablo ozuna, from mvp 2004 he comes equipped with portrait. he doesn't have a blank portrait. so i was just wondering if the portrait used for bonds in the mvp 2004 updated rosters could be used for your 2005 version because some of us cant download all the portraits we need. i am not that familiar with how you use mvp edit but i was under the impression that when you import a player you can import his portrait and audio and in some instances his stance. you cant import unique stancs and cyberfaces, correct? HypnoxXx
With MVPEdit, we can only import his audio/photo ID that links a player to his portrait and audio. If a player does not have audio/portrait on the disc for PS2, he will not be able to have one period. I'm sure Pablo Ozuna has a portrait already on the disc, and that's why he shows up. There are quite a few players not in 2005 who still have their 2004 portrait and audio still left on the 2005 disc. Since Barry's audio and portrait was removed from the 2005 version, it just won't show up.

lineshot
Thanks for setting me straight guys  If no one else is checking over the Brewers, I can certainly do it. I've helped out with the Brewers a little on the Real Baseball System rosters, and can certainly help out with these as well. I know the Brewers system pretty well. Let me know if you'd like help with the Brewers.
HypnoxXx
PLAYER LIMIT FOUND After agonizing for an hour trying to add a couple players to the Mets, I can officially say I have found the limit to how many players can be in the game. 3224 With a full FA list, this will leave us 81 players short of having all 30 teams at 100 players within the organization. There is nothing we can do about this, just as we can't stop the game from creating fakes in the FA list once you start a dynasty or owner mode game. jtc324
it might be beneficial anyway that there is a limit. if all teams have their correct rosters from majors to AA that would prevent A players from getting promoted tp majors in dynasties/franchise mode because there are less of them. Like in reality it is far fetched for an A player to get promoted if its not right out of spring training.
abacusand13south
Marlins roster correction I noticed, spooneybarger is on the 60 day dl out until at least june and possibly longer, travis smith was with the team but now has been sent back to triple a. Jim crowell took his place because the marlins needed another lefty with periso now being moved to the setup role.

bbythepier
The Cardinals signed RP Gabe White (I'm not sure about the contract details, but he is in Triple A Memphis). He is still on the Free Agent list in the last update. Also, the Cardinals have been using RP's Jimmy Journell, Randy Flores, and Carmen Cali who have all been looking pretty decent so far. You may want to look at their pitch types and their abilities which are pretty low. Just some suggestions. Thanks a lot. After going back and looking at the DL, I would guess Eldred (viral), Pulsipher (hamstring) and Izzy (abdominal) would bump all these guys back to AAA. And Jarvis who they just called up would go back down after Tony switches to an 11 man staff. It’s not as if they need long relief with their rotation (unless LaRussa wants to overdue the righty and lefty matchups like he’s done for 20 years) MLB- Pirates White- He may or may not be doing well for the Eyepatches, but he was 5.50 ERA in 58 APPs for Clev. last year (not exactly a small sample)- not much scouting to go by, just left the stuff and decreased Find White tweaks and 4 sims here: http://img170.echo.cx/my.php?image=white0en.jpg Williams- his pitches look right, just fiddled with change and slider Find Wiliams tweaks and sis here: http://img170.echo.cx/my.php?image=williams9hi.jpg Mesa- Went back and put in split (per DMZ and MLB.TV) and made it his 2nd best pitch behind slider Find Mesa tweaks and sims here: http://img170.echo.cx/my.php?image=mesa4oq.jpg Hoffman- Even though I didn’t comment on a member’s (a Padres fan, I think) post about overrating Trevor, I still went back and tweaked while doing the guys above. By lowering the control #’s circled I think I got a little closer to desired results. No big deal, I was doing corrections anyways. Find Hoffman tweaks and sims here: http://img170.echo.cx/my.php?image=hoffman1rt.jpg DMZ, Does Snow get your vote for 15/15 fielding? Mets, Rockies and Cubs fans: Fo’get about it. Doug M, Todd H. and Derrek L. can share the bronze and the silver. The Gold Glove trophy at 1B should just be molded in the shape of a Snow-man. He is not “one of the best†fielding 1B’s, he is “the bestâ€. (And you know I call a spade a spade, no matter the uniform) Millennium (I always forget that 2nd n), Does Crawford get your vote for 15/15 fielding? I can tell you who gets my vote for the best middle infield in the game? (Hint: yours) Abacus, Like Lowry, if the batters know Lee’s high 80’s mph fastball is comin’, he’ll be asking for a new ball. That’s why I compare them. There’s no mov’t on their fastballs, they need to outguess the batters by throwing that offspeed stuff. Also abacus, I think it was you who told patiencelessjoe that he was a moron for thinking guys like Felix Hernandez and Matt Cain wouldn’t get called up at sometime this year. Look at their starts in AAA so far (look at Cain’s H/Inn.) Bbythepier, Haha, how’s Lowry doing last two starts? Bbythepier: Crappy, yes. How’s Greinke doing? How ‘bout Oliver Perez? Blah, blah, blah. One bullpen session and these guys (and others) could click. I panic in June, not April and May.

poonani
Im curious what work has been done on the Yankees system for the newest update. I'm now finally completed my work on my complete organizational update, but i really so no point in releasing it on its own. Would there be interest in adding it to the new update? http://mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Forums&a...opic&t=9181 is the link to my post, but i never released it because i felt like more work needed to be done. I've since reworked the major leaguers alot more, gotten their hot and cold zones alot more consistent with RL as well as hit distribution to all fields. Also updated some of the rosters, and portraits. Obviously the portraits would be done separately, and i still have more to update because the Thunder recently put out new photos which are better than some of the ones i gathered from college-era
