Hudson_Vasquez
Is anyone else bummed out that SBC Park's nightime sky is so cloudy one can no longer see the beautiful lights of Oakland flickering across the bay? Is anybody thinking about making SBC Park? If so, can you guys do something about the sky in the day and night versions? It's rather depressing playing under dark, cloudy skies in both day and night. Hudson_Vasquez
It doesn't rain, but the sky sure looks like it's about to fall down upon ya while playing. To me, not being able to stare across the bay is what I miss the most.
SnareMV17
I've seen drops falling a few times, but no downpoors at SBC. Another thing that is rather distracting is the size and color of the lights off the Bay Bridge. In real life, the aren't so big and are not yellow either. Another problem with the background is the cove in right. The pier acrossed the cove where Willie Mac Park is is rediculously lame looking. The resolution is enourmous and trees look like Legos . Can anyone be super cool and fix this?
RAM
has anyone tried importing the morning or night skies bmps by rglass for mvp 04 into the new game yet? i'll check it later, they were awesome especially the morning sky.

But it's the lights of Oakland that I long for the most.
Hudson_Vasquez
Skies like the one below would be awesome for the day version of SBC:
SnareMV17
yeah the skies there during the day are gorious. I realize that the emphasis of MVP Baseball is not everything outside of the park, and so now all this seems rather trivial. But as long as it's there, it may as well look right, ya know? RAM
i love the Will Clark card by the way. My absolute all time favorite player. Will "the Thrill" will always be a Giant in my eyes. LOL! yeah i think all time- he is my favorite giant as well. barry runs a really close second. i used to be a big kevin mitchell fan back in the 80's as well, but he kind of just fell off the face of the earth. used to go see the giants whenever they rolled through houston everytime to just see will swing that bat. still go as much as i can nowadays. once will came to the the rangers i made it a point to get out to arlington as much as possible to catch him play there. obviously i'm in texas now, my family on my dads side resides in san leandro, so we used to regularly go out to candlestick and oakland alameda. still haven't seen sbc in the flesh, haven't been back to the bay area in ages. Hudson_Vasquez
I'll probably going to San Francisco frequently soon. Good stuff for me! And no snare, it isn't necessarily trivial. I mean how often is it stormy day and night at San Fran? Not much. The stormy clouds just takes a lot away from the aesthetics. But yes, it might as well look good! SnareMV17
I've been hearing things in the past couple years about Will making his coaching debut with the Giants organization. He's already running Giants Fantasy Camps and stuff, so maybe we'll see him work his way into coaching soon. Robby Thompson is already on the coaching circuit, and I'm confident that we'll see Matt Williams go that road as well. The new ballpark is simply amazing for those of you who haven't seen it. It looks, smells, and feels like baseball. Almost like going to Disneyland! :D
rglass95
The skies are in a slightly different format this year I think, I haven't had time to look yet but was planning on it. Lights are very tricky with the skies as the image is stretched across the screen - any small points of light end up looking horrible.
