BoA_rocks
The controller worked with MVP '04, but for some reason when I reach the menu in '05, it would say "Input device not supported, so it's been disabled" or something to that extent. Does the controller HAVE to be a PS2 or what for '05? kthanks for help!

sjsharktank
what brand of controller converter do you use? i use the radio shack one with my PS2 controller and it works fine with a few changes in the controller.cfg file...except the vibration doesn't work so i can't sense where the borderline of the strike zone is when i pitch :(
BoA_rocks
I use a EMS USB Joypad2. I don't even see a controller.cfg in my doc/mvp baseball 2005 :(
five
You have to save in-game for it to appear. Go to MVP Options / Game Options / Controller Config / Save Is the EMS pad showing up in your control panel? Go to: Start -> Run -> joy.cpl Is it showing up there? What i did was in the controller config menu i selected Dual USB Feedback Joypad which is configured already for the PS2 controller. Then i went into the controller.cfg in My docs and changed it to profile= Logitech_Dual_Action device= Logitech_Dual_Action Now in the options i had Controller Vibration "On" and it vibrates. BoA_rocks
See, the thing is that just when MVP starts and the menu appears, a notice pops up saying the controller is not compatiable. Hmm...I'll post up a pic.

Hmm...I'll post up a pic. Hmm have you done the reg edit we all did for 2004? And oPoCoLo why do you have Start as button 9 and select as button 10? I changed it to buttton 10 so that the start button is button 10 and select is button 9.

baseballfans
I didn't get that message perhaps I post what I did so to help U out. 1. Open Regedit (Start>Run>regedit) 2. Make your way to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMControlSet001ControlMediaPropertiesPrivateProp erties JoystickOEM 3. You'll see a bunch of entries like VID_045E&PID_000XXXX and when you click on it, it should have the name of a controller in the right panel 4. For me, it was the last entry. Keep going down the list until the controller that has the same name in your Controller is shown on the right window. 5. Delete the description for that window on the right window and rename it to Logitech Dual Action. (Example: My controller name was simply USB_Dual_Vibration_Joystick, so I just renamed it to Logitech Dual Action)
MauerPower
I desperately need help. I need the controller configuration for a GameCube controller that I have for the game. It works fine, but the baserunning is screwed up, and it doesn't work with the L and R. I am dying here, and have tried everything, renaming, remaping, altering config and everything. PLEASE SOMEONE HAVE PITY ON ME!!!
