wilmer007
Ok i'm playing with the Marlins in Owner Mode. But heres the problem all 5 of my starters want an Ace contract. How the hell can i sign all 5 starters if they all want an Ace contract? I mean i signed Beckett to a 3 year $3.4 Mil Ace Contract to make him happy then i sign my other 4 starters to an ace contract to make them all happy and then i see Beckett is unhappy again and wants more money. So then just to try out i give him want he wants and then i see Burnett is unhappy again and also wants more money. What gives? If i offer them a starter contract they get angry. What can i do? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wilmer007
So what should i do, keep them at their 1 year contracts and have them complain throughout the season? What about when there contracts expire and they still want an Ace Contract? I'll be back to square 1.

Give your ace the ace contract, and the others regular contracts. Just change the Ace to Starter or whatever the second best option is.

That's what i always do but when i offer them the starter contract for the same price they get angry and i have to wait till they cool off. TonyP
That's what i always do but when i offer them the starter contract for the same price they get angry and i have to wait till they cool off. Add one extra year to the deal, same money. You should get what you want.

wilmer007
let them go and get new pitchers I want to keep the roster as accurate as i can. Is it possible that the Roster Update i downloaded messed it up so that they ask for Ace Contracts?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's the best way to deal with that: Turn off the Chemistry effect. It's an idiotic feature to MVP baseball anyway. In real life, the situation wouldn't happen like that. You'd probably only get 2 crybabies instead of 4.
