currently 3.5 GB.

in the same game against KC, barry zito had a no hitter until the 7th (walk in the 3rd) and dan johnson was a double away from hitting for the cycle.

he ended up getting thrown out at 2nd in the 9th trying to stretch an OF single into a double.

very very close to handing over the closer's job to jc romero. dotel has blown 4 of his last 6 save opportunities and right now i just dont need that. currently tied with the mariners for the AL west lead after taking 2 of 3 from them and the rangers.

sent mike cuddyer down and called up huston street now that the river cats season is over.

kirk saarloos is going to remain on the staff as a long reliever after filling in for oliver perez who missed 2 starts.

sporting the 64 kansas city a's unis, jason kendall hit a walkoff shot in the bottom of the 9th off kelvim escobar to win the game 1-0.

escobar and oliver perez both went the distance in one of the best games all year.

ALDS: took a 2-0 lead to NY and ended up being taken to game 5, but there's no Giambi to mess it up and I won the series 3-2.

ALCS: a 1-0 lead faded quickly, down 3-1, winning game 5, but then losing game 6 thanks to a CG from Curt Schilling.

New thread will be started for me next season.
