MarlinsFan
Users of the GeForce MX graphic cards already fixed the problems, however is there a way to fix every other card, I've seen Ati users also having problems in most cases the cards are better than the MX, so if it can run High Detail on players, so can the run. Am using an e-vga GeForce FX 5200 128mb card on 75.90 drivers.

timzeig
I've got an ATI 9800 PRO...I've tried everthing(updated ati driver; DNA-ati driver; 3d analyze 2.0) Nothing works!! I have GeForce 2 Go video card in my Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop and 3D Analyzer 2.0 works to produce high player detail with no stuttering and/or slowdowns. With that said, I had contacted EA thru email and they wrote back with this message; Response (Carlos F.) 02/28/2005 10:04 AM Hello, "Thank you for contacting EA technical support. I am sorry that you are having difficulty." "Unfortunately, this is a limiation of your video card. The game detects your video card and only provides the options that your video card can address." "Since, this is a hardware limitation, I doubt this will be even considered in any future patches." I am very curious to see what EA has to say about your High-end ATI 9800 PRO video card. If you haven't contacted them, click below to contact them about your problem: http://eatech.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/eatech....I*&p_srch=1 I hope one way or the other, you and others with this problem, will get it solved. RAM
will 3D Analyzer 2.0 help my poor 7200 raedon or a waste of time ? is that a 64mb card? if so it should, my old card was radeon 7500 64mb and it worked great. just replaced my card though. i'm not sure if anyone having using the problems are using a 32mb card or not but, if you are there may not be much you can do. you may have to just get a new card. I KNOW that sucks, i had a 9600xt fry on me (it was a used card i got or a good deal- now i know why) so i was using my old 7500 but couldn't take it anymore. i'm on a student budget and picked up a radeon 9250 128mb ddr agp for $50 new. and the game looks really nice with it, and it's real nice not having to load it into 3danalyze. i would have much rather bought another 9600xt or even a 9800 but just can't afford it right now. i also found some fx 5500 256 mb cards for just under $100 i may even pick one of them up here in a couple weeks if i can scrape the cash up. anyway point is is that you can solve the problem for around $50 or so. Dodger_Fan
I have an GeForce2 Pro card w/ 64MB RAM, and 3DAnalyzer 2.0 will not work for my computer. I have tried a myriad of options, all to no avail. According to the box, it is supposed to work on my card, and I had no problem with MVP 2004 (and am currently playing Madden 2005 on highest detail), but this game will not give me a player detail option above low. lineshot
3DAnalyze doesn't work for me either. Is it possible that uninstalling and reinstalling the game and then using 3DAnalyze right from the start with helmet reflections turned off, etc would help? Anyone try that - uninstalling and then re-installing the game? I have an old Geforce MX 400 32 mb card on a slow 800mhz, 256RAM system. But, I can get Madden 2005 and NBA Live 2005 to work fine. lineshot
This is slightly different than other threads regarding the player detail level stuck on low. I just installed a new ATI Radeon 9250 (basically a 9200 Pro card) graphics card last night. It was time for an upgrade anyway. Installed the card, fired up the game, and sure enough, I could set the detail level to HIGH. Glory hallelujah!!! Set some other things on high, helmet reflections on, the whole nine yards. Played a game, and oh baby did it look nice. Fun to play, no real stuttering or glitches. Smooth and nice looking. And I was happy Shut the game down, do a few things on the computer. Fire the game up again later to play a little more - SHEEEIT! The players eyes are all freaked out, players look crappy - what the heck! Player detail level is locked on LOW again! AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH! Restarted the computer - still stuck on LOW. What is going on here!?!?! Why would the game let me adjust the player detail levels right after I installed the new card, but not after shutting down the game and then restarting the game? Does too much memory get tied up? Probably not, since restarting the computer doesn't help either - still locked on LOW! This is an ATI 9250 128mb card for heavens sake! Not even a GeForce MX that EA is saying is the problem! Now my computer meets the minimum requirements barely - 800mhz, 256RAM - but it does meet them. And - the game ran just great - smooth as silk (almost) when I had player detail set to HIGH and other stuff set high. C'mon EA, this REALLY needs to be addressed in a patch. If a computer meets the minimum requirements, we should be able to set our display options how we want them! This is not a horrible graphics card - not the best, but certainly not horrible! AND IT WORKED GREAT WITH PLAYER DETAIL AT HIGH! It seems that there should be a way to disable this locked player detail operation. I don't know near enough about computers to do this. If it works the first time, it should keep working. Has anybody had this problem and been able to fix it for a Radeon 9000+ card? Are there settings I could try to help? I don't have the newest drivers - would installing the most recent ATI drivers help? Any other tweaks I could try? I've tried 3DAnylyze with no success on either card I've tried (Geforce mx 32 mb or Radeon 9250). Please help! I got a taste of the good life, and I WANT MORE OF IT!!! The game was sweet to play when the player details were high! EA - you really need to address this soon! This is not an isolated problem with one type of card. It seems like a friggin bug. Fix it please, or you are going to lost more customers! Any help greatly appreciated!
