Any status on a MVP2k5 Editor program like MVP2k4's for .SAV

I searched but didn't find anything discussing the status of any possible MVP2K5 Editor program to report statistics on the .SAV files like someone did for MVP 2004. I think it was MLBTinker that did it for 2004.

It was called something like ReadMLB or MVPSAV or something like that. It was a superb piece of work and certainly would like to see a 2005 version.

I tried running the '04 program against an '05 .SAV file but received an "Overflow" crash.

Thanks for any insight on this,

Don

I also noticed from searches that he possibly used MVP2K4 and MLBTinker as his MVPMods IDs ................. do you know if those two IDs were infact the same person ?

to tell you the truth, I don't think it's the same person.

mbltinker was not the type to use 2 id's, he's a very uncomplicated & straighforward person with no time to waste

It would save me a huge amount of time if there was a way to extract stats and player ratings from a .sav file. I compile all that manually and it's a huge pain.

I keep track of all my stats manually too. That's why this mod was a god-send for me last year.

It makes me feel like Steve Martin in The Jerk when he was manually writing out four million checks. :D

Are you still planning on continuing your ActiveStats page now that you have the game?
