PeterOS
Cpu will not advance the runner on third on a double play situation. It has happened to me a few times with the game. Anyone else notice this?
sox73b3
Yes I have seen it just about everytime the situation comes up. CPU runners will not advance on a ball to the right side. I may try increasing the Runner Aggression but I doubt that will work.
KenDammit
I think it depends on the speed of the ball being hit. If someone hits a seed to the second basemen or first baseman, the runner isn't going to take off and shouldn't. If its a pokey ground ball then the runner SHOULD be advancing or at least trying to. I'd say its just hard to program because you don't want someone just taking off to where a player could just throw the ball home and take the run away instead of having to turn 2. I'd rather have runners on first and second with 1 out than no runners on having given up a run with 2 outs. I don't know you're situation though, so I'm basically rambling :)
MaddiesDaddy
Cpu will not advance the runner on third on a double play situation. It has happened to me a few times with the game. Anyone else notice this? I have yet to see the CPU tag at third and score on a non-shallow fly ball to the outfield. My CPU Runner Agg. was at 0 and I was playing in Pro. The first time I saw it was in Rookie mode and thought perhaps since I was in rookie that is why. It seems like there is something wrong here with this...you shouldn't need to change CPU Runner Agg for a fundamental play. I think it should only cause changes in how the CPU to tries to take an extra base on a hit, come into 2nd harder on a double play or into the catcher at home, etc. Anyhow I have set my CPU Runner Agg to +20 now to see if that helps. yankees464672
Sometimes the CPU stands off of third base, the whole time. As a result, triple play :D
