AgentQ
Guys, a suggestion if you are recording a song that your playing with wianamp or whatever you use on your PC... get Audacity. It's freeware that lets you record music as wavs or mp3 format..PLUS you can also edit songs/music into smaller clips of whatever you want. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ AND, here's the best part...you can use some of the reverb effects to make the song/sound file sound like it's in a stadium or arena/dome. I use it for ESPN football and it sounds just like the PA system is playing the music in the stadium. You'll get much better quality than using a mic and recording from the speakers of your PC. NY_Yankees
I think they tried this last year, and it's tied in with the commentary audio.

NY_Yankees
I didn't. Someone tried it, and the thread had like 300+ replies and no one could get it done.
Dan
I think I'll just e-mail EA Tech Support and ask which file it is and if it can be edited.

Dan
This is what I got: :? Hello, Thank you for contacting EA technical support. I am sorry that you are having difficulty. You have reached technical support; we have no gameplay information that we can offer to assist you. Although many of our games are very technical in nature or difficult to play, the issue you are encountering is not with the game. You may want to surf the web and check out some of the major video game sites as they usually offer codes and gameplay hints for EA games. One major resource for Hints and Tips is http://www.gamefaqs.com . Also, newsgroups are a good source of information as hardcore gamers often message each other back and forth in these forums. Customer 03/10/2005 01:05 PM Which file in the game files is the music file for both pre-game and between innings? If there is one, is there a possible way to edit it? Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts Technical Support. Carlos F.
AgentQ16
Just to add to the websites that have some great baseball themed music and/or sound effects: and for the ones that allow you to play but not download you can just use Audacity (freeware) to record the clips as they play. Then edit them as an mp3. I Love the 4th one down...80's TV Thems....tons of old baseball clips. http://www.audiosparx.com/sa/display/sound...uesttimeout.480 http://music.yahoo.com/release/92569 http://www.audiosparx.com/sa/display/sound...FTOKEN=93338684 http://www.cooperstownmusic.com/song_titles_songs.htm#A-2) http://www.80stvthemes.com/potpourri/sports.html http://www.loc.gov/rr/perform/baseballbib.html http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00...4719761-8124609 http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=1335440 http://www.bostonbaseball.com/whitesox/bas...tras/music.html http://rush.digitalchainsaw.com/music.html
Dan
my hint is that it's: C:/Program Files/EA Sports/MVP Baseball 2005/data/audio/ and then I think it's either bdcst_mx or cd/bdcst_mx. I think I can use that music convertor to turn the FOX theme song into that.. I'll see what I can do.
