bbythepier
(hypothetical) I'm in the 10th round of the fantasy draft and I'm looking for that nasty lefty in the pen to get out Bonds or Helton in the 8th with runners on 1st and second and 2 out. I see Ray King is available. And his contract is only 1yr./$400K (or so says EA). I scoop him up. But if his real contract (2yr/$4.7 million) was there I might think twice about his price tag. http://www.mlb4u.com/stl.html smart88 and other members say use MVPedit to make the change but it still works on last years point system. Does anyone have an idea on how to make this change? Can someone (or Glassman himself) touch up MVPedit to reflect the new "realistic" salaries? glass4's MVPedit 2005.4 and patch and MVPconvert seem to sidestep this part of players' info. I looked all thru the thread on 2005.4 and everyone’s worried about stats, portraits and the like, but if the player’s too expensive, I might not have a place on my roster for him. [Don’t get me wrong rglass95, this is a great editor. I appreciate your contribution.]
bbythepier
i do know that the salary is under attrib.dat: player atribute #40 is annual $ amount (formula = (#+1)*100000) player attribute #41 is contract length (yrs.) Ex. Eric Chavez Player attrib #40: 109+1=110*100000 = $11 million Player attrib #41 5= 5 yrs. i can make changes under excel, but would love a nice GUI app.
