caribou
Hi guys, well I downloaded jimdawg47's "COMPLETE ROSTERS 1.1" that supposedly fixed the duplicate free agents, but there were duplicate dat files in the zip (oh the irony), and perhaps I imported the wrong ones, because I still have the free agent problem. My question is how to remove these manually with MVPEdit? Because I greatly altered some of the players - fixing skin tone, ratings, handedness, etc. So, I'd hate to have to import his rosters and make all these changes again... Is there an easier way to remove the free agents? If I attempt to edit the Free Agent team in MVPEdit, I get a problem with unique keys and it crashes. Any help is appreciated. Complete minors rosters by jpup, or TotalMinors would be even more appreciated
jimdawg47
I was unable to keep my season, I had to start again. All players handness should be right I paid special attention to this. Sorry my rosters don't come even close to jpup or total minors but again I was doing these for myself and decided to share. Jim

Sorry, I shouldn't have added in that last comment, but I was jokingly attempting to convince jpup or GForce to make rosters this year. I definitely appreciate the work you did. As for handedness, there were only a couple flaws with some of the lower level prospects. I only adjusted the Cubs, and the only name that comes to mind right now is Renyel Pinto. You had him as a righty, and he's a lefty. Most of the changes I made were with ratings, and making the Cubs top prospects relative to the other top prospects, etc. Anyway, I know I would have to re-start a season, but I meant how do I fix the free agent problem without just importing your rosters again? I want to keep the changes I made to the Cubs team, but fix the free agent problem. How did you go about removing them? Thanks again
JaFFiTh
Speaking of the roster, i tried to open it, it opened just fine but when i try to open the free agents, the MVPEdit crashes, so maybe something's wrong in the free agents in your roster, the fixed one. Heck, using the updated MVPedit kinda messes up things so i can't really say if it's your roster or if it's just his editor
LetsGoOakland
I do not think it is the editor unless you updated it improperly. After I had some trouble, it got worked out (pretty much on its own) and I have all career stats installed (even for scabs and missing players such as Matt Miller, John Franco and Mark Ellis). When more CAPs become available, I will add them with credit (those three were taken straight from MVP 2004 so no real credit other than to EA is required). They are available for download and I should be posting a version 3.0 very soon with more players added that are missing - CAPs for the foreign imports this year, Scott Sauerbeck and any other missing player (post them here or in a new Missing Players thread) so I can begin work on them. I cannot think of any more off hand.
No1CubFan
I opened the newest rosters just fine but I noticed that half of the all-stars are just mediocre to bad players. Jim, did you notice that?
jimdawg47
Yeah only way to make rosters limits correctly. Sorry
No1CubFan
I just realized that with these rosters all the career stats disappeared. Did this happen to anyone else?
