Peter5897
worked for me. make sure you're renaming the correct files.
bigbully
did you replace every file? or just some of them?
Peter5897
I replaced all of them. Once I imported my files into the EA SportsMVP Baseball 2005dataaudiocdmusic directory I renamed all the original files by putting a "- real" tag on their file so I can save the originals. Then I renamed all the files I converted to menu1, menu2, menu3... ect. The information about the song will still show up as the original songs in game but those can be edited with a Hex editor, there's a thread about renaming them somewhere on here. edm
How large are these files? Any chance of getting them for download?
bigbully
How large are these files? Any chance of getting them for download? We can't upload any of the songs - you'll have to use songs your personally own. The files are a little bigger than your avg. MP3 - but you have the option of just converting a portion of the song. chitownron
Yes, and it works well, but you have to use the imorter. First, find the nine sounds that you want to add. (Don't know if you can add more than that). Rename them, literally, rename them "MENU1 - MENU9," and replace the files in C:Program FilesEA SPORTSMVP Baseball 2005dataaudiocdmusic (Make sure to create a folder called "OLD" first, and copy the old Menu files in that folder. LASTLY, run the program and ADD them ONE AT A TIME. That's it. When you run the game, the initial song can't be changed, but when you are IDLE, i.e., changing rosters, etc. your music will play. - Good luck Ron
chitownron
http://www.mvpmods.com/modules.php?name=Do...&cid=22#cat Here's the download link. If this does not work, look in Tools and editors under downloads Ron

chitownron
Thanks, BigBully! You da man! --------------- DanSaint: Yea, .WMA's dont work. Convert them to MP3. If quality is an issue, convert the quality, as well. Good luck!
AgentQ
so the music we put in has to be mp3 format? How about asf format? I see asf files in there, so that's why i wondered which format should work.
bigbully
what he's saying is your file you want in the game must originally be a MP3. Then you use the ditty importer to convert it to .asf - then you can rename it to menu1 or whatever and write over the existing file
heymarchetti
You guys are the greatest!! I love listening to MY real music. Quick tip... Real Player or other software can convert songs that may be in one format to compatible formats for the Ditty Importer.
Taylor87
Question: Can you only have 9 songs for Menu1 - Menu 9. Has anyone tried putting more songs like menu10 menu11 and has that worked?
drift
probably not because there wouldn't be a [artist name, name of song, & album title]on the screen when that song is played. U would have to add more strings into the game. I'm saying this based on my knowledge from NBA Live 2004 +2005 & NHL 2004 .
