mflv
I'm sure this probably can't be fixed, but the name of the new left fielder for the Cubs is Dubois. The stadium announcer announces his name like you would think it should be pronounced - dub-wa. However, as it happens, he pronounces his name - Du-boys. Just a small thing but I cringe every time I hear it.

LetsGoOakland
Last year, when you made Scott Hairston, they would say "Hairston Jr." Drove me nuts. The worst is Chris Berman's way of saying "Giambi." He says "Gambi." Every time, I am just like - THERE'S AN "I" IN THERE YOU MORON!
The H
mflv, The game have several mispronunciations... and that's not an error... it's a feature, hehehe, believe it or not. Several players have their lastnames pronounced differently depending of the stadium where they happen to be playing. I think that's really neat, since in reality, many stadium announcers are that wacky and funny sometimes when pronouncing lastnames .

fuzzone
the announcer says Ree-vez. it's supposed to be Rivas (re-vaz)...WHERES THE TINGLE ON THE NAME!! STUPID ANNOUNCER WITH NO HISPANIC TINGLE IN HIS TONGUE!!
The H
Jody Gerut: In Detroit, the announcer announced Jody Gerut...as "GEERRUT"....yet in Cleveland, the announcer calls him "GAREUTt". Craig Brazell: The announcers say "BRA-ZELL" (a as in apple), and the stadium announcer says "BRAY-ZELL". Jeff Suppan: Some announcers call him "ZOOO-PPAN", while others identify him correctly, pronouncing his lastname as "SOPPAN". I learned about this from another forum, and after testing it out, I can confirm that it does indeed happen with Gerut and Suppan.
ortonius
The one I can't stand is Krukow's pronunciation of Mark Teixeira's name, especially since Krukow is a pro. He says Tex-AIR-uh, when it's actually Tuh-SHARE-uh. Grrrrrr.
Disastros
I keep forgetting to check if Backe is no longer prnounced "Back", anyone know?
tks
You should get Red Schoendienst (Legend) in a game....The field announcer butcher's this one big time. It should be..."Shane..deenst"...Field announcer does something like "Show..en..dinst". Strange thing is, the voice of the field announcer sounds older and you would think he would know how to pronounce that name when he did the recording. Emil
You could try listening to a game with swedish announcers...They say "JA-ints" (Giants)

No1CubFan
All the cub fans here might've realized that Krukow and Kuiper mispronounce the last name of a Cubs young pitcher Mitre. They say miter instead of the right pronounciation. I don't really care cause I have him in the minors the entire time.
deacs
I was playing the other day and I heard Kuiper pronounce a player's name two different ways in a matter of seconds. Unfortunately, I can't remember the player.
