Hilltopper3339
I opened it with Winrar, now what do I do?
kitm9891
It should have come with a readme which should explain it all, just check through the downloads on winrar and go from there, if you have any other problems doing this then let me know and I can walk you through it if necessary. Hilltopper3339
Where is the portrait.big file? It said it was in the MVP directory, but where is that?
JoltinJoeCarter
it's wherever you installed the game. Most people have it in their C: drive, in the EA Sports folder, and then the MVP 2005 folder, and then the Data folder

Hilltopper3339
I followed the directions, and placed each file in the place it told me to. I went to check the portraits on MVPEdit, and they weren't updated. Any help?

Hilltopper3339
Please, I really need help here.
kitm9891
This is exactly what I do... 1. Download using winrar 2. Once downloaded, click on select all and copy and paste to either your desktop or make up a new folder for this purpose. 3. Open EA Graphics Editor and open new file 4. Open your C Drive-Programs-EA Sports-MVP Baseball 2005-Data-Frontend-Portrait. This should display the entire set of portraits in the game. The way it is listed above is the process you do it in. 5. Next, go to your EA Graphics Editor, click on Tools and Import Wizard 6. Click add files to external TAR archive. 7. On the left of the next screen will show something like browse, just click on the add button on the right, go to either the desktop, or the folder you saved the portraits in and hold control while you click each one. When you have done that just click proceed or finish whatever the option is and it will run its course, after that just boot up MVP Edit and go through and check a few of the players and match their photos to the new one, as long as it does then just click export and export them to the database folder, same process as before but when you get to the data folder instead of going to the frontend folder just double click the database folder and click finish or proceed and let it run its course and you should be done. Make sure you are running the newer version of MVP Edit as well or you will have problems, hope this helps and I was in no way trying to talk to you condesending, just wanted to help anyway I could. Also, when I show the process of files to open in step four that is from within EA Graphics Editor, just to clarify.
