controller configuration

Because I'm the one who wants to know not my friend. He couldn't care less about it. Hefalumps, would it be possible for you to post a screen shot of your player stopping? Also you are playing the 2005 version correct?

Hm... apparently I wasn't playing 2005.

I just tried it and you're right - buttons 5 and 6 didn't do anything, even if I put those lines in the controller. I must've gotten it confused when I was flipping between 2004 and 2005 to try to improve my graphics stuttering.

I coulda sworn I saw it happen in 2005, but I guess I was wrong. That does kinda suck.

Anyway, I stand corrected.

You may be able to use the controller config from last year in this game. Only problem is my controller wasn't supported last year. Would you be able to send me the 2004 config file and I will try adding my controller to it?

Sadly, MVP 2005 seems to ignore the RUNNER_STOP stuff. Not sure why they took that out, although I didn't use it that often. It was definitely nice to use on line drives.

Has anyone else figured out how to stop the baserunners?

No, but I think I visually compared the two and they were pretty darn close. I think we may be out of luck. Let me know if you discover anything else.

Sorry I was so sure I could stop my baserunners. I noticed that the computer will do it automatically on fly balls... maybe that coincided with a key I hit once so I thought I had been able to stop the runner manually. Oh well.
