Sidewinder
Anyone notice that when the Human controlled runner is sliding at home(controlled by user) that the controls are backwards? If you go to do a headfirst slide to the right of the plate and press up-right on the stick, he goes to the left side of the plate. I have no problems with the other bases, at least not 2B and 3B. I havent tried sliding back into 1B yet. Has this been discussed before and what are the conclusions? This could be fixed in a future patch. I am using a Logitech Rumblepad 2. hefalumps
I might have noticed this too, but I'm not sure. I kind of remember thinking once or twice, "Hey, I thought I slid the other way..." - I'll try to pay more attention next time. I'm using a Saitek P880 and I've already tweaked it to fix the mismapping that is inherent for that controller, so it should be working properly. I'll keep an eye out and let you know. Sidewinder
My Rumblepad 2 seemed to be supported right out of the box this year, so I havent had to do any tweaks. Just wondering if this is a specific gamepad issue or an issue in the game overall with all gamepads. Should be an easy fix for EA if it is. Peter5897
Has anyone been able to ram into the catcher successfully? Whenever I tap up on my PS2 gamepad it doens't work.
MarlinsFan
The catcher MUST be behind home plate in order for the "railroad" catcher to work, if He's in front of the plate you will get tagged.

I could have sworn I ran over Javi Lopez with Dimitri Young, and I think he was on "the tracks" when the "train" came through.
