BigTrain0425
Can anyone explain the difference to me? I have seen it asked a number fo times without good explanation on this board. Is it like the old HH days with the tune file and the animations file? If so - what types of things can you change in the datafile that you cannot in the tune file? spitoon
The datafile appears to have all the animation data for the game, plus a bit of the gameplay info as well. The datafile can be edited to a greater degree than sliders allow...for example, my modded datafile shrinks the accuracy zone on the pitch meter by 50%, then the sliders act on that... Camera views can by edited in the datafile as well. It's not unlike the tune file and animation file from HH, just combined.... Having said that, there seems to be many things that are not adjustable in the datafile, and many things that you adjust with seemingly no effect in the game...alot of it is hard coded in the .exe.....besides that fact that it's a huge file and very hard to filter through effectively. Jim825
Your analogy is a good one. In the datafile, you can change things like camera settings (angles, field of view, etc.), the size and speed of the pitch meter (like Spitoon did in his datafile), remove batter walkup music (like Trues did in his datafile), etc.. There is a wealth of information in the datafile, but a lot of it is very cryptic.
