Rottz
Here are my rosters for the Redsox ML, AAA, AA, A Teams. Just import the .met files with MVPedit 2005.4 by going to FILE > IMPORT > TEAM > SELECT .met FILE > SELECT TEAM > ADD OR REPLACE Add if you do not want to delete your players and merge rosters Replace if you just want to use my rosters as is Check it out in the download section! Suggestions are welcome, and updates will come after the season begins. Feel free to add to your current roster set, and if you publish I just ask for a bit of credit. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rosters are based on soxprospects.com projections and a bit of my own. I've add Kevin Millar's career stats and changed his batting stance to chipper jones(less wiggle than sheff). I've put Hanley in AAA cause he's just too good for AA and everytime I sim a season they're asking me to bring him up. Also brought up Brandon Moss another TopPros to AA instead of A where he was last year. Most players in AA and A are CAPs or modified players that were already there. Lineup and Starting Rotations are based on my best guesses but will be updated when season begins and we see how the managers want to set it up. joshchapman08
I'm having a problem with this mvp edit i go to import but it dosent give me the option of importing teams only DAT files is there something im missing.
Gamingboy
I'll maybe use it, if it isn't too overpowered (because fans of a organization will exagerrate their prospects abilities sometimes, even when they think they're not)

You have to goto FILE > IMPORT > TEAM You are most likely just hiting the import Button which defaults to dats
mastasports1
Rottz, you know you can have 22-25 players in AA and A right?
Rottz
Rottz, you know you can have 22-25 players in AA and A right? Yes, I did 22 because I'm mostly using Llamc's roster set and wanted to stay consistant.
poonani
i like these rosters although i disagree with bladergroen's high prospect rating. I think hes more avg than lots considering his mediocre plate discipline. Also Hanley getting a Super (although EA did that) is ridiculous

Rottz
OPENING DAY ROSTERS Ok, I've got what I think will be open day rosters for all the Redsox Teams MLB,AAA,AA,A No Fakes, All real players mostly CAPS in AA,A and some 2004 imports. Added career stats for alot of AAA players, and will be adding more later. Portrait IDs have been updated and All MLB,AAA have IDs, and most AA, A have IDs, and If you use bodhiball's Farm system portraits, you'll be all set. Since Schilling and W. Miller and Adam Stern have been placed on 15DL, I've demoted them to AAA and promoted Dave McCarty and Mike Myers/Blaine Neal to MLB since they're active now, and made John Halma the 5th starter til Schil is back. All are .met files and need to be imported team by team in MVPEdit Feel free to add them to your roster sets, just give me credit if you make a public release. If you see any major errors, let me know. I'll update again after opening day if there are any changes. Download from the Download Section

Rottz
MaddiesDaddy: lol thats ok, I'd say the same about the yankees! But you gotta admit, the rivalry makes for great baseball! mastasports1: I've started to use GF's spreedsheet too, as I'm adding the career stats, I put them in the spreedsheet and adjust attributes accordingly. But that is a slow process so it will be awhile til all that is done. I'm still just making sure I got all the correct players, attributes will be tweaked as the season progresses. Rottz
You have Tim Hummel on both your AAA and AA teams. doh! Yes I do, good catch, don't know how I didn't catch that one. I deleted him on AA and replaced him with a new CAP Jared Sandberg, which I guess is going to be the starting 3B for portland. And...as I was looking at soxprospects.com for Jared Sandberg, and I've noticed they've updated their projected rosters which I didn't notice before my last release. So...lots more changes coming now, like... Created Jared Sandberg and Chris Durbin on AA Portland and put them on the starting lineups. Promoted Dustin Pedroia and Jarrett Gardner from A to AA and put him in the starting lineups and rotations. Created Christian Lara on A Wilmington and put in starting lineups. Created Mike Lockwood on AA Portland to fill in an empty roster spot. Created Gary Galvez on A Wilmington and put him in the starting rotation. Created Scott White on A Wilmington to fill in an empty roster spot. I've uploaded a new version 1.1 with the new additions.
camulos
FYI. Justin Sherrod was in AAA and AA when I imported this. Also, I was having an issue with the ML team. I imported all 3 rosters and they looked good. When I went into MVP however, Manny, Ortiz and Renteria were all duplicated and existed on the Red Sox and in the Free Agent list. This may have been caused by me installing your roster over another custom roster but I'm not sure. I resolved the issue by taking my base roster, making the ML team match your rosters exactly, then imported the 3 minor league teams but NOT the ML team. poonani
Why? He is one of our best prospects in years. Thats not saying alot when the last positional player the system has produced was Trot Nixon. Hanley is ridiculously overrated. The first time he actually hit for power was a short stint in AA, and he doesnt walk enough. If you actually look at who has "5" ratings in the game, you'd see that he doesnt deserve it.
jumbohky10
these rosters are great...not sure if you're going to do another update but you're missing Jack Cressend in PAW, and Phil Devey and Talley Haines in POR....also I'd leave spots for Adam Stern and Roberto Petagine for when they return from the DL....thanks for the great work!!! Yeah, I know that they are missing, I have .mep files for them. It's just in MVP we only have 25 roster spots and I don't have anymore free, all teams have 25 players. I've been watching the box scores, trying to see who is getting playing time, and Cressend and Devey seem to be getting alot, so I might add them in, just gotta figure out who I should remove, prolly another pitcher. I'll will be uploading an update later this evening.
Rottz
Version 1.3 Promoted Curt Schilling and demoted Kevin Youkilis, put Curt in starting rotation and Kevin in starting lineup. Fixed alot of players skin tones, by using different faces. Not perfect but alot better now. Tweaked a few of players attributes, too many to remember(should have wrote it done), but didn't change anything major. Imported Phil Devey(RP) and put him on AA Portland Imported Jack Cressend(RP) and put him on AAA Pawtucket Created Talley Haines(RP) and put him on AA Portland Removed Anastacio Martinez until he is actually on an active roster. Removed Jeremi Gonzalez to make room for Jack Cressend until I see Jeremi play. Updated a few IDs to match Hory's current portrait set. Prolly alot of other changes I just can't remember. Should be in the download section shortly, once validated.
jumbohky10
Rottz, yeah i understand about there being too many players and not enough spots. but i also saw Devey and Cressend getting some innings. Portland has another four guys on the DL too. Smith, Baille, Rudrude, and Langone. what's the deal with Mark Malaska? he's not on PAW or POR roster. keep up the good work as more roster changes are bound to be made in the next few weeks!!!
