Ok here's the situation, I'm up 2-1 in the 9th inning against the Phillies. I was letting Beckett pitch a complete game. First batter, Jimmy Rollins strikes out, then Kenny Lofton hit a texas leaguer which kept him to a single, Bobby Abreue pops up to Mike Lowell. 2 outs and Jim Thome up to bat, first pitch, Thome pulls a outside fastball, and well, I'll let the picture tells the rest of the story.

Encarnacion robbed Thome of what would have been a HR which would have made the score 3-2. What a game I had.

I can't show it because it wouldn't let me see the replay. It's also not a webgem but it is the funniest thing i have seen in the game so far. I am playing against the Red Sox and Tim Wakefield is pitching. Batter hist a line drive off of the side of Wakefields face, goes up in the air about 20 feet. Wakefield falls on the ground. Jason Varitek runs out past the mound dives and catches it before it hits the ground for the out. Most unbelieveable play I have seen yet. And it knocked Wakefield out of the game and put him on the 15 day DL with a concussion.

Same happened to me in the All-Star games(I wa the NL All-Star)

Bonds comes to the plate, hits liner right at Santana's head, and the 2nd Baseman gets it.

Due to it was the All-Star game Sanatana was not injured.

However, in the NLCS game, Mulder was pitching for the Cards, in the 3rd inning Castillo hits a liner at his head(same situation as Santana), though due to Castillo's speed, I managed to get a hit. Mulder went disabled for 55 days. No shots though.

Yesterday...

Bases loaded 1 out, Giles hits a liner, Castillo dives catches it, and he lands in second on the dive, and gets the second out for the CPU was not expecting it to be caught...

I took screenshots, I'll upload them later to show them.

I dont have a pic, but in my Cubs dynasty, Maddux is in a jam with bases loaded 1 out. The pitcher tries a squeeze bunt. Derek Lee is charging at this point. HE pops up the bunt to the left side of Lee. I quickly change direction and dive for a big out.

2 outs. Leadoff hitter Overbay (computer ai...) lines one right up the middle. Hariston makes a spectacular dive and flips it to 2nd to end the threat.

I've seen a pretty sweet one a few days ago: Beltran hits a shot to deep right-center, and the Nats CF is running like hell to get it. He gets there right before it lands, but it bounces up, off his glove, he kicks it up, then catchs it right before it hits the ground. Pretty sweet, but annoying, seeing as I was the Mets.

i play with assisted fielding so it's not "my" webgem. it was one of those plays that kruk and kuip don't play it up enough for you to KNOW it's a homerun so you have some hope that it will fall short. i didn't think DeJesus had it though - i was winning 5-2 on the back of an Angel Berroa first inning grand slam at the time and ended up winning 5-3 against the White Sox. Tadahito Iguchi is the one being robbed.

Earlier today I played against the Phillies, when their catcher Mike Lieberthal made an amazing catch by climbing the wall on foul pop-up.

I just couldn't believe my eyes (and I think neither could Orlando Hudson)...

For those of you who want to see the entire action, here's a video of the catch. Enjoy!

btw, I lost the game 2-7...
